Will Grier

He's not really able to zip the ball to those spots effectively even at the college level. He's very similar to Rudolph in that his placement and touch on deep passes is superb but lacks the ability to drive it up the field regularly. I'd just like to see him doing it first is all. Oh yeah no doubt he'd upgrade what we've had. He'd have ran last year's offense with his eyes close. Chark and Dede synch up well to his style too. Not if that loft is a product of his arm not having the juice to get it there. Some of it is his habit of throwing off the back foot but mostly the arm. Have clips on the laptop I'll post tomorrow. Will Grier weighs in at 218 and 6024, 9 1/2" hands.
Don't really care about measurements for players but that's good for his draft stock at least.

His measurements were insane. That is who I am intrigued by he has a canon and very athletic and he could be a very good developmental qb later in draft.
No Fun

Cut his hair too.

I heard an interview on 1010 with Grier this afternoon. He sounds mature, levelheaded, driven and says he would be grateful to play in Jacksonville. Of course he'll say that about any team looking to draft him, but he really did sound like a guy who is comfortable in his own skin.
I feel like this guy is gonna fall past the first round.
Wouldn't mind Jacksonville taking a look at him at all. I'm just not sure how well he's gonna play in the league. He seems to make boneheaded decisions in some of the games he's played this year But then he'd make some impressive throws afterwards, so I have no clue what to expect from him in the NFL

He can be really accurate and he's pretty good sized. I think his bad habits could be cultivated out of him with the proper coaching. It'll be interesting to see where he falls in the draft. He has good instincts and throws a nice deep ball.
Name is relatively easy to spell for us posters as long as you remember "i before e except after c"
Read his wikipedia....quick release and accuracy are important in these times.
I'd be good with the jags drafting him
Because Jaguars is our mantra

I definitely want Haskins, but I wouldn't be mad if we drafted Grier in round 2. He has a lot of good qualities.

Must not have been too bad. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Wellllll I'm probably being petty but I disliked that he didn't play in the bowl game; they might have lost anyway, but he would've made a big difference.
I HATE watching WVU lose to Syracuse. Happens way too often whenever they play |
