Until then, I'm just holding the man to his campaign promise to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. Once the check clears, he can build all the walls he wants to with it.

Education is really a let down nowadays. It literally doesn't matter if Mexico shipped pallets of cash and dropped it on the steps of the Capital. The appropriations/funding process does not change. Remember the Gofundme? How'd that go? This isn't rocket science.

And if a hypothetical check from Mexico were to arrive and clear, I would condemn any legislator that attempted to block it. If Trump can get a check from Mexico as promised, he can have his picket fence.

It amazes me that people like you believe another country is responsible for our national security. I know you've become numb or dismissive to the fact that we send billions abroad for other countries security but that won't be reciprocated here.

Allow me to preface the following statement.  I am no fan of Trump.  I did not vote for him.  With that said having watched him with an unbiased eye and admittedly a right leaning view did you really expect Mexico to write a check when he made that statement?  Trump is a lot of things that I disagree with but one thing that I do find common ground with him is that he may perceive his thoughts as clear when he says things.  I am not going to say that this is what happens with him however I often find myself uttering statements that I perceive as being completely coherent but upon further review often need an explanation.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you but what are the positives of this forum? It’s just constant barrages of insults and there’s reallt zero good conversations taking place.

At least in the other forums, it’s not people insulting each other. Unless you drafted Leveon Bell.... I’m sure there were insults thrown around then.
