I don't see a diva. I see a guy who really wants to win. I can't fault him for that.

Here is my thing with Ramsey and let's take him at what he said.

1.  He wants out because of how he's being used?  This makes no sense to me.  As I said in another thread.  There is not 1 team in this league that runs man to man coverage, let alone press man EVERY play.  You are going to play zone no matter what team you are on you are going to play some zone coverage during a game.  Most teams run some version of cover 3, quarters, quarter halves vs Pro/Ace formations, so you are going to play zone.That's just a fact and he knows this.  So to suggest that he's being misused to me is a cover up to whatever the REAL issue is.  Now, can we run more man to man, I suppose, but, SHOULD we given we have Herndon opposite Ramsey and even when Bouye was playing given how he looked, SHOULD we?  Sure it allows Jalen to shine, but does it compromise the remainder of the UNIT?  And that's what the defense is, an UNIT.  Again, a scheme can be tweaked more to highlight his skills, whether it should given the remainder of the personnel is the question.

2.  There is no way one call should make you want to demand a trade.  This is about something else.
3.  Him requesting a trade, to me says he no longer wants to be here.  That means he does not want to be around this staff, but more importantly, to me it says he no longer wants to go to war with Campbell, Jack, Yan so on and so forth.  And to me that's the larger issue.


I would prefer to be a team with Ramsey than without.  But given all of that, if they can find a great deal, ship him out.  It's going to be something else every time.  But the real issue is he just doesn't want to be here, especially after NOT getting the extension when he wanted it.  He's a competitor and he wants to win.  I think every guy in that locker room wants to win, but I don't see them doing what Jalen is doing and I don't see them requesting trades.

Rarely does what is said matter in situations like this. You can learn more about what wasn't said.

He hasn't talked to Moron.
He loves the team, teammates, city, etc.
Never says he loves the coaches, only that he doesn't have anything negative to say.
He never said he outright wants to be traded, he just side stepped it.

Why wouldn't Moron talk to him? A real HC would have talked to him first thing in the morning. No matter what, you would talk to your player and probably do it on Monday or even Sunday night.

I really hope something is happening and Moron is gone and Ramsey and team got the news early.

The loss and Marrone spat just gave them cover to bring out the trade demand.
The interview was damage control to let everyone know that hes being a good teammate.

Poz was solid but the team failed to put any playmakers at the Outside Linebacker position.  Thus Poz had all of the duties of stopping the run and watching TEs and sometimes WRs
