What's false about it? Trump's not denying that he asked Ukraine's officials to read out a statement on Fox news that would serve his campaign.

Did you seriously just ask for a link to prove a negative?
Multiple witnesses testify that they were trying to get Ukraine to read a statement on Fox news.
Trump's people do not deny this.
if you can find a link or anybody connected to the Trump administration denies this allegation, then I'll admit I'm wrong. You can prove a positive, but no one can prove a negative

It must be exhausting to continuously defend your positions. Its the same feeling I get watching Juan Williams on The Five. It just has to be exhausting.

I'm not a mod.  And this forum never had a "like" button. I asked the mods two times if there were any rules about the positive and negative buttons we had at the time.  They said, "no rules."
I started a thread where I asked what other people's thoughts were.  No one agreed, but a handful of members decided to insult me for even asking the question. I didn't ask the mods to remove it. I didn't ask the users to ask the mods.
But after that thread I started went so far south, I did make it a policy to give three negative clicks every day to anyone who ever posted that reputation was no big deal.  I stopped whenever the person admitted that the reputation score was actually a big deal to them.  You and two others claimed it was no big deal. I did not do this for vengeance. The people who simply insulted me got a free pass. I was testing the sincerity of people who told me it was not a big deal. So the three of you started getting three daily downvotes and I don't remember seeing any posts or PMs where you admitted reputation was a big deal after all.  One of the three of you complained to the mods, and that's why it was removed. Blame that guy, not me.

I am a millennial, but I'm not the millennial you're looking for on that one.

Again, where is a link to this testimony?  The multiple "witnesses" that testified only said what they "thought" they overheard someone else say or what they "felt" people meant.

The guys who are alleged to have said it were subpoenaed but refused to appear.
If Pompeo et al never gave such orders, why not testify saying so?
If you agree that asking Ukraine to read a campaign statement on fox news is wrong, what is the remedy?

Now it's a "campaign statement" lol. Hey, I heard Mikesez's wife's brother's uncle say that the President of Ukraine was going to fly a Trump 2020 banner behind his '86 Cessna 206 over the next Jags home game! Impeach Him!!!!!!!!!!

So, no evidence of anything other than "witnesses" testifying that they "thought" or "felt" that others were trying to do this.

Refusing to appear in a kangaroo proceeding is not a crime.  Your democrats changed the rules and limited the "defendant" from calling and/or interviewing their own witnesses.  There was never any testimony of anyone giving orders to push the government of Ukraine to "make a campaign statement" on FOX news.

Other than here I have not heard of one of you leftists claim that anyone was "asking Ukraine to read a campaign statement on fox news".

This all stems from a phone call where The President mentioned looking into corruption regarding the 2016 election to the new President of Ukraine.  How you and other leftists come up with him "asking Ukraine to read a campaign statement on FOX news" is beyond me.

Again, provide a source for your information fantasy.

If someone is guilty of a crime, they belong in jail.
If someone has breached trust, or acted in bad faith, they deserve to be excluded from the public trust but not necessarily be in jail.

I hope this is obvious to you.
because the leap that you and people like you keep on making is  "it's not a crime if..." I never said it was a crime. Pompeo may have done nothing wrong. But he needs to testify. So does Bolton. You can't fault the case for lacking evidence and then turn around and say Pompeo doesn't need to testify. If the evidence that we have is somewhere between "probable cause" and "beyond a reasonable doubt", the door needs to be as open as possible to finding better evidence.

As for the source, I think it was Sondland and Holmes who agreed under oath that the main object was just to make Ukraine's government issue a statement.

I really wish it was obvious to you that any evidence presented in this sham is/was manufactured not discovered. I realize that's always going to be just a wish, because you and your lefty buddies have been pining for something...anything on which to impeach Trump since November 8, 2016, but reality just keeps letting you down over and over and over again. Now you're staring down the barrel of a House and Senate both controlled by the Republicans and working with President Trump for at least 2 full years, and that thought just keeps you up pacing the floor at night. All the good they will do for the Country just hurts you to your core because you can't help but root against the Country if it means hurting that OrangeManBad in the White House. Sad really. Very sad.

Oh, Sondland...right. The guy who changed his sworn testimony after his businesses were doxxed by Left's Outrage Squad? The same Sondland who quoted Trump as saying “I want nothing, want no quid pro quo, tell Zelensky to do the right thing.” in all three versions of his testimony? Yeah, we should totally run Trump right out of town on that one, Lol.

Well now, I guess that depends on which of his three testimonies you're referring to now doesn't it?

He made his testimony match with that of his colleague Holmes so as to avoid a charge of lying to Congress. if he really believed what he was saying the first time, he would have said, "hey Holmes is lying to Congress! Hey district attorney you should be charging holmes for lying to Congress!"
Now maybe Holmes was lying, and maybe Sondland is a weenie.
sure would be nice if we had the testimony of someone like Pompeo or Bolton to know for sure. Until then the best explanation is that Sondland felt he owed some loyalty to Trump but not enough to potentially face criminal charges. He lied like Trump's people wanted up until the moment that he was afraid of going to jail.
