Missile guidance systems can only be explained using specialized vocabulary. you have to use words like velocity, thrust, and attitude that have very specific meanings.
If you don't introduce the specialized vocabulary, and try to use only words that people already understand, your explanation will sound very simple at first but then very confusing before you are done.
Now you guys don't want to learn any new vocabulary or concepts because you guys already think you know everything.
If I try to introduce you to the vocabulary and concepts you don't understand, you'll think I'm being didactic or off-topic.If I go ahead and refer to them without explanation, you'll make an incorrect assumption about what I mean and then jump all over me for that.
Whether I use big words or small, you blame me when it gets confusing.
