I hear you man.  But if I am placing faith in anyone in that organization, it has to be Khan because: 1) he isn't going anywhere; and 2) I cannot have ANY faith in Caldwell or Morrone.  I am trusting Khan to clean house, allow a new regime and culture to come in, and develop a sustainable winner.  If not, like I said... Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow completed 25 of 36 passes for 300 yards and was sacked just once. He was rarely pressured, and the season-long question of how to pressure the quarterback was again a post-game theme.

"We have guys that have the ability to do it," Head Coach Doug Marrone said. "We've got to coach the heck out of them, we really do, and give them some opportunities. … I'll probably go back and look and I'm sure some of our guys will look at it and say, 'Gosh, we need to win more in that situation.'
"And for us as coaches, we've just got to help them out. You know, put them in better situations, really get better plans on how we want to pass rush these guys, and go out there and execute it, because that's what we have to do a better job of for sure."

All I'm seeing from Marrone is "aww shucks guys, we just gotta do better." It's the same crap every week. This guy has no fire or passion. It's like he's calling a bingo game at a nursing home. I don't even see any desire to win with pathetic answers like this.

If he can’t explain what needs fixed in layman’s terms, he can’t explain it to his players. There’s rarely a direct explanation from him. It’s all fluff.

I think he could explain the problem very easily but I doubt he's going to step up to a mic announce his DL lacks the necessary talent and/or his DC is a blockhead.

It is what it is.

It’s a bit of hyperbole. I don’t expected him to throw specific people under the bus, but it just doesn’t seem like he ever clearly states the problem or how they intend to fix it.

So linebackers who take bad angles, trash secondary, 1 pass rusher and no DTs who stop the run......

Shocked they’re playing bad.

Exactly.  He doesn't care about appeasing emotional fans, he is trying to keep control of his locker room.

Im on the FIRE WASH train too, he cant make adjustments, he cant figure out a new defense. The only reason he uses this defense is because he learned it from a former coach. He certainly cant make up his own defensive scheme so he has to go with what he knows. The only change I can see him coming up with is to just let our kick off team allow the return guy to run all the way back for a touchdown every time we kick off or punt so our defense never gets on the field and we have more time with the ball on offense. Maybe for just the 1st half so their defense is gassed and ours is fresh

Why would anything be different this year? He made almost identical statements the last 2 seasons. Nothing is going to change and he will make his 3 straight statement that they have to improve with the only different part being that they won't have a contract after the next season.

So, in your mind, you think Khan allows DC to lead another Draft that contains 2 first round picks that is critical to the future of the organization while simultaneously having him and Morrone on lame duck contracts?  Even Khan can't be that stupid.  He either has to be all in and extend Caldwell (which would be ludicrous) or cut them loose.  The lame duck contract option while simultaneously determining the future of the franchise in the next Draft seems completely absurd.  But it is the Jaguars... so you may have a point.

Sure fire Todd Wash. Then what? Does that make the players any better? The players suck, too.

I would bet Wade Phillips or Romeo Crennel could do more with this defense. Both sitting at home right now

I think you spelled "CALDWELL" wrong on your petition.

Yes because he did it this season. Plus Caldwell wasn't in charge previously.

The biggest issue is he doesn't want to fire anyone and pay them to sit at home.

Doesn't anyone remember the night and day difference in the performance of this team the week after they fired Bobblehead and named Marrone interim? We went from "Coach Horrible" to "Coach Meh" and you could still see the difference it made in just 6 days.

He didn't do lame duck contracts this season... they had 2 years left when Coughlin was fired. This is a "prove it" for DC and Morrone. Its not going so well, is it? And Caldwell has been the GM since 2013. Quit apologizing for him and this brutal roster.

Money is not an issue.  He's doing it now with Coughlin.  And numerous players with dead cap money.  We paid a guy a million dollars to play 3 games.  He plays in Denver now, and we are stilling paying him. Money is not the issue.

Coach meh is better than coach jack [BLEEP]... Id be willing to bet the both wade and romeo are much better coaches and could get more out of this defense than wash...Im not saying CHAMPIONSHIP or even playoffs but Im saying we would be better with either one of them as DC...Thinking bigger picture here

He said last season was a prove it year in his own words and then did nothing. TC was fired because he had to, not because he wanted too.

Either you for the the Jags or have blind loyalty to Khan.
