I did have crow for week one this year but it had more to do with Rivers having a bad game. Oh my sweet jesus..... Luton isn't good. And he wasn't good yesterday. We're so desperate for a good QB that we're taking the one long pass to Chark as the sign he's good. Minshew is better than Luton, by a wide margin. But I do agree at this point we take a QB 1st or 2nd overall.

We need some change around here and if getting a top 3 pick helps to make sure there's a full house clean on black monday, then I'm all for it. We show less advertisements to registered users. You can't see the deep need for a burn out of the losers that are making this a historically bad franchise? I'm agreeing with you this is a full response to JagFan81 as well.

I often agree with you and I'm starting to feel the same. It feels like I'm on the Titanic, theres a giant hole in the side, we are taking on water and going down fast. Nothing and no one can 'save' this season. I hate watching us lose but if 1-15 means goodbye Caldwell, Marrone and Wash then I'm on board. A new regime, some FA's and high draft pick and fans may be interested again.
Luton looked like a taller less skilled Minshew.
He had at least 5 passes that weren't picked because the Texans D is just as bad as ours. I don't think Fields is the answer... but if Lawrence or Mac Jones fell to us... why not? Our city would LOVE a hometown hero... so why not Mac Jones? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

I see bust written all over Fields. He doesn't consistently go through his progressions and usually throws to his first read or takes off running. He doesn't have good pocket awareness and takes off when a defender gets within 12 feet of him. He doesn't throw that tight of a spiral either and has benefited greatly by having one of the best set of WR's in college football, as they basically are running free. Olave in particular, has bailed him out on several throws. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Agreed, but he also has one of the prettiest deep passes I've seen in a while. He stays in the pocket, goes through all of his progressions with a good sense of the pass rush. He has excellent pocket awareness. He knows how to lead his receivers to hit them in stride with a tight spiral.
