The Vikings came to mind as a team that probably will have plenty of interest in signing Carlos Dunlap. Much like with Dunlap having a connection to Urban Meyer, the Bengals DC under Marvin Lewis in Dunlap's first 4 seasons with Cincinnati was Mike Zimmer. In Zimmer's 7 combined seasons as Vikings HC, Rick Spielman has brought a number of former Bengals Defensive Players to Minnesota. Even if the Vikings decide not to trade Danielle Hunter, they have a need for a starting caliber DE.

What do you think your Lions will do in the draft?

I would think WR and LB would be priorities, though the more I think about it, this would be the best year to take a QB in round one.  One of the top 5 guys will be there.

The Dak signing shows that Mahomes is worth a billion dollars.

Tim Tebow has as many playoff wins as Dak.

Well...at least a half a billion dollars, anyway.

A bit disappointing, but I didn't expect the Jaguars to sign him.

Hoped he would join Trent Williams on the roster, but had my doubts he would sign with us.

Thank God, we will have Lawrence on a rookie contract for a while.

Tennessee gets Miami's 2021 7th and Miami gets Wilson and Tennessee's 2022 7th. They basically gave him away.

Yep, I still wanted him though

If we miss on Trent Williams or Hunter Henry, I hope we go all out in FA on the safety position. Get Johnson or Williams for FS then go and get Neal at SS

It would suck being a fan of a team stuck in no mans land at the QB position where you are forced to pay a guy like Dak Prescott at the risk of winning 7 games instead of 8.

I know you were asking this of D6, but I also think it's intriguing that if you are confident in Goff (stop laughing) at least in the short term, this is a great year not to be forced into taking one of the QBs in the first. Trading back to a more desperate team may net some extra early picks this year or next and still afford you some very talented players to build a solid team.

No way Prescott is worth the second highest QB contract behind Mahomes. No way. LOL.

They have been re-structuring deals all over the place and they are still $49 million over the cap.
