It worked “okay” for me but I’m not sure what caused the spree of calls yesterday. If I had to guess, it’s like when you get a traffic ticket then a week or so later your mailbox is full of driving schools. I think when the cpa filed what he did, the IRS must be selling the info. I’ve received some calls and a bunch of crap in the mail. She is on Verizon. She’s got an iPhone. Idk if if that is only with Apple or not. I’d imagine the other phones would be comparable in features. If not, I’m sure they will be. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Just do what I do.. Tell them to hold on while you get your wallet and put the phone down next to the TV speaker and just sit and watch TV for a while..

I get about one scam call every couple of days. Sometimes I'll get 2 or 3 in a day, but not often.

It made me laugh and feel old at the same time. There's a Slam the Phone app for Androids. Remember the days when there were banks of pay phones in airports? There are some things I get nostalgic about, but old landline phones isn't one of them. I love my cell phone. However, I do miss the ability to get away from the world like we used to. The cell phone can always be turned off, but somehow it doesn't evoke the same sense of adventure and isolation.
My dad has a phone number that’s just slightly different than his local FBI office. He gets the most interesting phone calls sometimes!

I would never not get a chuckle if my phone warned "scam likely" whenever she was giving me a call at work. I can remember in the days of dialup, I made sure to pay extra for voice mail because I would usually be online for hours on end. Never failed, no matter how many times I explained that VM was not a physical answering machine, mom would call and I would get the inevitable message "Honey, you there? It's Ma. [silence for about 20 seconds] If you're there, pickup, it's ma. oh well [actual message]" and of course when I disconnected the modem would I check the line for messages? of course not.
This thread has jinxed me. I’ve gotten more scam calls today than I can remember in a long time.

Well you kinda gotta be careful when it says spam call on your phone.. I hired a very reputable HVAC company to come out and perform maintenance on our AC unit, to get it ready for the summer months.. They told me that they were going to call me when they were about 30 minutes out from our appointment.. They called 30 minutes before the appointment, but it came up as a spam call.. I don't know what triggers that process, but it can be a pain when it's an actual service that you want.
Hello. I just wanted to talk to you about the warranty on your car...
There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.
This new style in men's suits that look like they're two sizes too small. I don't get it.

But I've been seeing this on TV. TV dudes can afford new suits whenever.
