2021 draft rumors and tweets

(This post was last modified: 04-20-2021, 09:24 PM by Bullseye.)

Interesting blurb from NFL Network....

Giants' gM Dave Gettleman is interested in trading down fro #11 even though he has never traded down in his entire career.

I don't believe this one at all. It's just some Packers' fan's hoax, hoping he/she can wish it into existence. I can't say I blame them though.

It's interesting how a similar move paid off so well for them about 15 years ago, but seemingly has blown up so spectacularly in their faces now (taking a QB in the late first when they still have a HOD QB active).

As for the Jaguars, I'm thinking they may try to move up from 45.

Myers would be an awful pick at 65. That would be a michaelscottnogodplzno.gif situation.

Tutu Atwell 149 lbs my god, maybe he needs to transition to kicker. Devonta 166 lbs too yikes.

Very curious that Zaven bulked up even more and is now 270 lbs. I think he is trying to transition to full time EDGE. That weight as a do it all LB just seems impossible.

I had Farley as my #1, but his back issues scare me a little. Horn has been my #1 for the past few weeks.

Surtain is still my top corner, I like Horn too though, my 2nd

....or ILB for a 3-4 team?

As long as he can still move well, he would make a ideal ILB in a 3-4.

3rd and 8 we bring Chaisson and Allen off the EDGE and you want a 270 lb LB covering all that extra space in the middle of the field?? That sounds like a recipe for disaster.

I like Collins a lot but if we drafted him I was hoping he could play some MLB and some OLB for us this year but I was hoping he would move full to MLV next year next to Jack. If he wants to just be an edge guy I'm not as high on him anymore as I originally was because he was ine if the best LBs in coverage

Collins is one unique backer at 6-foot-5, 270 pounds. He’s not physically limited by any means at that size and earned a 93.0 coverage grade this past season for Tulsa. While he won’t be for everyone, certain schemes will covet that size. For a guy that big, that high of a coverage grade is nuts.

Yeah we know he was good covering AAC players who are now putting in applications at insurance companies and car dealerships. Do we really think he is going to be able to do that vs nfl competition and at a significantly higher weight no less? He's 30 lbs heavier than Poz was...

He's also 3 inches taller than Poz.  Before he started gaining weight I don't think he would have a problem.  But the more weight he puts on I think it will be an issue if he still plans to play LB

I have no problem with him as an EDGE LB in our system. Tell me that is what he is doing full time in a rotation with Allen and Chaisson and I would be perfectly fine with him at 25 or 33. As an ILB I wouldn't want him til later.

I don't see him as an edge LB. But that is just me I guess, lol.

If it saves us from the disaster of starting this regime with a first round RB then I absolutely want the Bills to succeed at it.
