You do not k know me then.  I have a history of being called a complainer, non fan, etc on this board.  I have always been one of the first to want Gene Smith Gone, Gus gone, Dave Gone, Bologna gone, etc.  The amount of insults I have taken for not being on the bandwagon is laughable.

I do not know if this Meyer plan will work out.  What I do know is that I wont continue to piss and moan 6 games into the plan.  Carry on though!

Lawrence hasn't looked "horrible" or "horrendous" at any point this season. Just admit you had a massive knee jerk reaction to nothing.

Look at  his first few weeks.  Yes he did.  He even admitted as much.

The only thing that was horrible was having your rookie QB throw the football 90 times in his first 2 starts of his NFL career, while only giving Robinson 15 total carries those 2 weeks. That's what was horrible, not Lawrence.

Imagine a world in which Lawrence is horrendous and Wingard is a good FS.

Twilight Zone indeed.

How do you feel about Andrew Wingard, #42?  I haven't figured it out yet.

How do you feel about first round running backs?

I don't think I'd want to draft one in the top 10.  If I ever said I would, then I have definitely changed my mind.  But late in the first round, I'm not as opposed to taking one there.

I was just messing with you - assuming you were doing the same.
I know I've repeated myself on Wingard so I pointed out one of your favorite topics.

Trevor still looking "HORRENDOUS?"

You've plastered this board with dozens of whine-fests after losses over the years. Others are free to gripe should they choose.

1.  At the time I wrote the Trevor post he was looking horrible.  He was ranked like the 40th best QB at the time of the post.  He has made huge strides since then and I for one and happy to see it.  Just because he has improved now does not erase the fact he stunk earlier.

1. It was a knee jerk reaction that everyone was fully aware of, statistically speaking, but others had the longview of understanding that rookie mistakes would likely be resolved in the near future instead of advertising their shortmindedness.

and just because you post "[name] is horrendous / should be fired" threads as soon as they are affiliated with the team doesn't make you a visionary. Those were equally knee-jerk posts that only encountered resistance because the rest of the fans were at least willing to see whether or not something worked before bringing out the pitchforks.

I mean, I'm glad you're exercising patience toward the new regime. Maybe you wouldn't have caught the heat that you have in the past if you did that back then, too.

It's the same as always. Knee-jerk reaction, others promote pumping the brakes, instead insist that you were right and claim to be a martyr.

Trevor was NEVER horrendous. I know for a fact that you were around during Gabbert's time here. Anyone who was a fan during those years cannot use "horrendous" to describe any other QB's play after that debacle.

Trevor was trying to do too much himself? absolutely.
Trevor was making dumb mistakes? for sure.
Trevor cost us a game? debatable, if at all.
Trevor was horrendous? not a chance.

bortles could be a more accurate representation of horrendous quarterbacking in a jags uniform. Tip pass int here and there

Honestly, I think the Wingard deep thing is 90% coaching 10% player. He's been on the team for a while now and he didn't play this deep before.

Cullen's blitz happy defense requires extreme amounts of press man outside. You have to have a ton of faith in your corners to put them on islands all day to properly run Cullen's defense.

We obviously don't have that, so they have resorted to playing the extreme deep single high to try to cover for the cornerss while still allowing league high blitz rates.

I still don't see why Cisco couldn't do that too, however, while probably adding far more big play potential.

Trade Wingard while his value is skyrocketing (perhaps for a 2nd and 4th round pick).   Hold on to Trevor until he improves because right now, we'd be lucky to get a late 5th round pick for him.  Perhaps we can throw Robinson into any Trevor deal to get some value back in return.

Dude paint it how you like. His completion percentage was near the bottom of the league for starting QBs, He was on pace to smash the INT record,  He had a couple of games with less than 200 yards passing,   In my eyes that is HORRENDOUS.  Paint whatever pretty picture you would like but I live in reality.  As far as the older regimes,  IF people listend to me we would be in much better shape now.  Instead the front office gave Gus 4 years, Dave 8 years, etc.   I was right and you were wrong period.l

You got a personal vendetta against me and attack every post I make.  I value your opinion as much as Dave Caldwell's at this point. Insteaqd of having balls and stating your take on the team, you have a history of attacking others post. Little man syndrome. I am done replying to you because your points are never valid. Since I have no respect for you or your opinion and you feel the same, welcome to the ignore list.

It's hilarious you have audacity to criticize someone's opinions. Even comping them to Caldwell
You have some of the most terrible takes and any "personal vendetta" anyone has against you is brought on by your numerous threads of manure.

My takes are so bad that you can't resist the urge to click on and comment on every thread I make. Hilarious and ironic.

You and Mikey must be best pals. Your another one that rarely has anything good to say outside of criticizing other posters.  I can't remember the last good thing you had to say about the Jaguars or anybody else.  Misery loves company.
