He even admitted as much. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Just admit you had a massive knee jerk reaction to nothing. The only thing that was horrible was having your rookie QB throw the football 90 times in his first 2 starts of his NFL career, while only giving Robinson 15 total carries those 2 weeks. That's what was horrible, not Lawrence.

Imagine a world in which Lawrence is horrendous and Wingard is a good FS.
Twilight Zone indeed.

You're pretty cavalier hurling all those stones from your glass house. 1. It was a knee jerk reaction that everyone was fully aware of, statistically speaking, but others had the longview of understanding that rookie mistakes would likely be resolved in the near future instead of advertising their shortmindedness. and just because you post "[name] is horrendous / should be fired" threads as soon as they are affiliated with the team doesn't make you a visionary. Those were equally knee-jerk posts that only encountered resistance because the rest of the fans were at least willing to see whether or not something worked before bringing out the pitchforks. I mean, I'm glad you're exercising patience toward the new regime. Maybe you wouldn't have caught the heat that you have in the past if you did that back then, too. Knee-jerk reaction, others promote pumping the brakes, instead insist that you were right and claim to be a martyr. Trevor was NEVER horrendous. I know for a fact that you were around during Gabbert's time here. Anyone who was a fan during those years cannot use "horrendous" to describe any other QB's play after that debacle. Trevor was trying to do too much himself? absolutely. Trevor was making dumb mistakes? for sure. Trevor cost us a game? debatable, if at all. Trevor was horrendous? not a chance. Honestly, I think the Wingard deep thing is 90% coaching 10% player. He's been on the team for a while now and he didn't play this deep before.
Cullen's blitz happy defense requires extreme amounts of press man outside. You have to have a ton of faith in your corners to put them on islands all day to properly run Cullen's defense. We obviously don't have that, so they have resorted to playing the extreme deep single high to try to cover for the cornerss while still allowing league high blitz rates. I still don't see why Cisco couldn't do that too, however, while probably adding far more big play potential.

Hold on to Trevor until he improves because right now, we'd be lucky to get a late 5th round pick for him. Perhaps we can throw Robinson into any Trevor deal to get some value back in return.

His completion percentage was near the bottom of the league for starting QBs, He was on pace to smash the INT record, He had a couple of games with less than 200 yards passing, In my eyes that is HORRENDOUS. It's hilarious you have audacity to criticize someone's opinions. Even comping them to Caldwell You have some of the most terrible takes and any "personal vendetta" anyone has against you is brought on by your numerous threads of manure.
