I thought Urban would be a good X's and O's guy that could bring some creativity to the offense. 

Team has looked totally unprepared and undisciplined.  But - this isn't unusual for a rookie HC and especially with a. rookie QB.  If you go around firing the HC after 1 bad year, then you aren't going to hire good candidates in the future.  Khan isn't likely going to want to pay Meyer for his entire contract after 1 season of work either. 

So - UM is going to stay at least another year.

He hasn’t been an X and O guy in years. He’s a program builder who needs good coordinators. I’m ready for him to be gone.

I think Griffin, RRH, Jenkins, Jones Jr., Malcolm Brown, and yes, Agnew are fine pieces to an offseason for a team that needs a lot of work. What they aren't is superstars who will set a team above the competition. You need those guys, but they can't be your headliners.

Meyer underachieved in his acquisitions and now doesn't have enough of a coaching staff to get his group of players prepared well enough to look like a competitive football team for 4 quarters each week.  They look less prepared now than before his acquisitions and coaching.

The funny thing? He assembled the largest coaching staff in the NFL. And they still are unprepared and they suck.

This would have been a good haul if we were like 18th in the league in available cap. Not 1st.

He also owns personnel acquisition and management. So if he failed to fit the roster to his system it is on him.

On the other hand, if he is a good coach, he should be able to adapt his system to maximize the talent he has available.

He has failed to do either. He has been a complete failure to this point. Why waste another year on him?

I’m not taking up for Urban but our best WR at the moment is Marvin Jones who is just a guy. #32 is awful. I have no idea how Jawan Taylor is in the National Football League. Wingard is our starting safety. Other than Allen our entire Dline has been below average. We still don’t have a bonafide TE. Arnold has been ok but will we ever get a 100 yard receiving TE. Lambo couldn’t make a kick to save his life. Our secondary is bottom of the league. Our roster is just bad.
