As stated in another thread, juding Lawrence on this one game is equivalent of judging Baalke for the teams performance today.

The biggest positive I took from this is Lawrence had a complete game for 4 quarters. He was accurate and didn't turn the ball over. Lets hope we can see more from this version of Lawrence.

Imagine if you tried to go to work tomorrow and your car wont start; battery is dead. Then you replace the battery, but get a flat tire on the way in. You replace the tire, get to work….and half your team calls in sick. Not only that but it’s your first week on the job. How well would you perform at that point in the day?

Treadwell has made a few plays this year (I know, we set the bar low here) but I’m starting to see why he was a considered a first round bust

NFL Research: Lawrence notched his first game with a passer rating of 100-plus, and his first game with two-plus TD passes without an interception.

Also the second time (first was in week 4) he went over 70% completion percentage.

Where has this version of Lawrence hid all year?

It says nothing of the playcalling or penalties leaving him often in desperation, 3rd and long situations;
It says nothing of the fact that he'd been led for most of the season by a dunderpate who had no right to be on an NFL sideline.
It says nothing of the severe lack of talent around him.
It says nothing about how often the inept playcalling or youth on D left him in 2-plus score deficits.

This would be like saying the pats stink because they lost twice (TWICE!!!) to one of the teams the QB you love to hate managed to beat. That's not how analysis works. If Mac or Bill were so darn good, how do they lose to a team that miserable? right?

Id be very surprised. He was the most ready QB and went to the best situation. Hes a very good QB regardless but no rookie QB would of been good here, it would have taken a Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers to have made this team decent.
