In base yes, but he has the size amd speed to absolutely torment guards on obvious pass rush downs. Lots of players his size and less athletic move inside on pass downs with great success.

I'm sure every now and then they will slide him inside to try to confuse the defense but he will be on the edge opposite  Allen in passing downs.  Aikem Nicks is a vet I'd like to bring in on a short term deal if he would be willing to come here.

WR1, TE, ILB, G/C, Nickel, Slot. That is what I want in FA. Maybe 2 IOL. That would be 7 which is a ton of signees.

I don't necessarily find it funny that they have Armstead going to another team.  I do find it humorous that they don't have us making an offer.

Ugh! If we give Robinson 4 years and $82 million, Baalke should be run out of town! I'd rather trade for a good WR like D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett or Amari Cooper.

I absolutely want more than just Allen, Hutch, and Chaisson rushing the passer next year. Especially since Hutch is tailor made to move down to the DL on clear pass downs. We could easily fit Allen, Hutch, and a third good pass rusher on the field a lot. I'm not opposed to that being another draftee, but we only have so many good picks and a ton of holes I don't think we will have the luxury of taking two good pass rushers.

I do to, but the guys you mentioned are gonna be very and would be starters on other teams. I doubt they'd sign here to be a backup. If we stick at #1, we have our starters in Allen and Hutchinson. This is a deep draft for pass rushers. I'd spend more than one pick on selecting pass rushers. We need depth. I don't like the idea of Hutchinson moving inside on passing downs at all. We have a ton of draft picks. We can afford to fill several needs, but I'm certainly not expecting to fill every need.

I wouldn't use a draft pick on a RB, because there will be a ton of really good ones that go undrafted. The supply is twice as much as the demand. I also wouldn't waste a draft pick on a Safety. We drafted Cisco last season and whether we like it or not, Rayshawn Jenkins is sticking around for another season do to his ridiculous contract. Ford is a good backup. I would definitely fill one ILB position in free agency and the other via the draft. I believe we are fine at 3-4 DE and NT. So, I those positions don't need to be addressed in the draft. That leaves OG, OG/C, Swing Tackle, TE, 2 WR's, 2 OLB's, ILB and Nickle to be addressed in the draft and we currently have 12 picks. We can afford to double up at some positions and still have picks left over to trade up if we choose.

We also have Smoot and Jordan Smith

Smoot is a pretty decent backup, but Smith was a mistake from the get go. I'm not counting on him to do anything.

Hutchinson needs to be an OLB in 3-4 sets and at DE in 4-3 sets to maximize his worth.

I don't think anything would make me happier than a jax reunion with AR-15. The man was dynamite in 2015 with Blake Bortles.. 1400 yards 14 tds with Blake Freaking Bortles.

I live in Maryland and stumbled onto a radio show talking about how the trade for Wentz is going to impact them resigning their own guys.

One person they mentioned was JD McKissic. I would absolutely kick the tires on him as a 3rd down back.

You realize that was seven years ago, right?  He's not the same receiver now.

I'm not going to complain if they sign him, but I'd certainly not expect anywhere close to those numbers.

Probably not 1400 but if he stays healthy he's still 1000 yards WR

In a 17 game season, that’s less than 60 yards a game.

Gonna need more than that.

Don’t get me wrong. I want him here but I would need more production than 1,000 yards.

Something like 1,200 and 10 TDs.

I didn't say 1000 yards on the dot, over 1000.    It all depends on how Trevor spreads the ball around.  It's not all about stats for me.  I think he can also make others around him better like how him and Hurns used to feed off each other, with him drawing attention and pulling the safety or LB to help the corner guarding him etc. if him and Trevor get a connection.  You want Kirk so bad yet dude has never cracked 1000 yards in his career lol

Pelissero says he thinks Kirk is going to get 15M AAV and Oluokun will top 10M so I'm out on both of them.

I don’t want Kirk “so bad” hahaha nice try though

I do want Kirk because he’s still super young and I don’t think he’s played his best football yet. ARob has clearly already played his best but he’s still very good. And you’re right, ARob would definitely help those around him as well.

There’s not a single player in this FA pool I want “so bad”.
