Cheesy but fun. He may have been a JAG lawyer but that flight suit works.

Good till the cutesy ending.

"They got a day's wages for only working an hour!"
"You signed up to work a day for a day's wages. I gave you what you signed up for."

"They didn't have to pay back their full loan and I did!"
"You signed up to pay off your entire loan amount plus interest. You were not asked to do more than you signed up for."

The literal meaning is don't worry about the deal other people got, you shouldn't complain as long as you got what you bargained for. Of course there are other meanings beyond the literal, but that would violate the COC.

Right. And those other meanings I believe are what he intended here.

Even if l accept your interpretation, it still isn't applicable, because it isn't their money. They don't get to make deals with our money for other people without representation. The President is not the arbiter of tax distribution. It's not his money.

If you were at the drive thru and paid your bill in full, then the manager was like, I think I'm going to make the meal free for the guy behind you... to do that, I added a dollar to your charge and the 10 cars who went before you. That parable you told does not fit that situation. It's total disregard for taxpayer money, and there is nothing fair about it. Your attempt to tie this to the Bible is just moral posturing.

Democrats messed up our university system. Period. Now the taxpayers are on the hook. If I applied your biblical lesson, the President could literally take anything from anyone, and it wouldn't matter. We are allowed to be engaged and pushed back against a broken and corrupt system. This is nonsense. Just saw an old college friend bragging that she had 10k removed from her debt. A conservative asked why he should pay for it, and she said she was happy to have him pay for it with lols and smiley faces. What a piece of [BLEEP]. Seriously. Her partner of the last several years makes plenty of money. Just another white liberal who's happy to exploit the system.

I dont think this parable has anything to say about taxes.  There are other stories for taxes.
The parable only has an answer for the complaint from people like NJC who paid off their loans the hard way.
Now I don't know if it's a bank's money or the government's money.  If it's the government's money, we were represented.  We vote.  I agree that the President should not make this type of decision about government money without Congress, though.
And I totally agree that the Democrats should get most of the blame for the overall state of student loans, though the for profit universities that have played such a big role on the problem are more known to contribute to the GOP, not the Democrats.
I think we're pointing at the same thing.
The entire student loan system need to be reworked, and Congress needs to take the lead.

It's cute that you think the banks are paying for this. This is just another sleight of hand policy to put more of our money in the hands of the elite. Thanks for teaching me about the Bible while the government continues to siphon money from the middle class.

I just seen one of the books that some of the parents were talking about being banned in their public schools..

Completely disgusting.. Hurts my heart to know that some people out there find that material suitable for children. There's a huge difference between free speech and sexualizing our kids with that kind of smut.

I'm not posting anything relating to those books and comics, but it's definitely out there for your inquiry..

Don't ever let me catch you giving smut like that my kid or grandkids..

Ever..

I will happily go to prison..

Football Fans Get Bad News After Realizing EXACTLY What Biden Has Done To Their Tailgate Parties

We’re going to take a look at how Biden’s inflation has caused the price of tailgating to increase beyond reason. I don’t know about you but I love a good game of football and nothing beats a good old fashioned tailgate party. But with prices skyrocketing, it’s getting harder and harder to afford to have one.

Didn't Ocasio-Cortez make the same demand of any Democrats who weren't pro-abortion, pro-green new deal, etc , and told them to leave the Party?

Leaving a party is a bit different from telling them that they're not NY'ers and to leave the state lolol

Definitely not defending old donkey teeth..

Yeah, reading the comments on this article is hilarious. It appears that there are still some sane New Yorkers left. But fewer every day.
