Too many penalties.. they had Wentz shook but let him get his confidence back. Damn it, a game of coulda , should, would haves.. The Commanders are still the dumbest team name ever.

You don't get it obviously...you think we should win by a 100 points every game regardless of anything else... seriously sit down and shut up already...

[BLEEP] are you talking about lol?  Id be more than happy with a 1 point win.  A win is a win and a loss is a loss

How much money you lose champ?

About 350$, half of it was free play though. Betonline.us. Had the Bengals and Texas A&M in a parlay too. Hopefully next week will be better

Last year we would have cracked the Commanders side if the field once. We would've lost that game like 38 - 6. This team is way better. If we were better in the red zone we would've won this game pretty comfortably.

They had our defense off balance with some nice play design. But the defense will be fine by week 4. Lloyd and Willuams have to settle in. We do need more push up the middle. All that talk about Hamilton being unblockable in practice isn't translating.

Lloyd did settle in, the speed showed up.  Even Muma came in and helped make the big 3rd down stop

There were plenty of bright spots but unfortunately because this fan base has become so accustomed to losing and dwelling on the negatives, we fail to acknowledge the achievements. We also fail to keep in perspective that this team is coming off two straight years of being the worst team in the league. Success isn't going to happen over one offseason.

While there were many low spots today, I didn't see any problems which appeared to be chronic (okay, maybe the O line looks like a project). What I saw today was a team that has the very real potential to win 6 games this year. I saw a team with direction, motivation and real desire. I also saw a team that will take their mistakes to heart and work to prevent them from happening again. While the loss was disappointing, today was a palpable change from what we've been seeing since 2018.

Exactly. After that first half, last year's team and coaching would have been a 25+ point blowout loss.

First time in a long time I've seen us improve after halftime. But we are home to the Colts next week so we know that's a W  Big Grin

Kirk good - Agree.  He earned his paycheck today with 117 yards.
Tyson campbell good - The interception was excellent, but he appeared to have his mistakes as well.
Etn - looked horrendus early, better later - He needed more running opportunities.  He had 47 yards on only 4 carries.  He also had a nice run called back on a penalty.  I feel it is just a matter of time before he breaks a 50 yarder.  However, he needs to do a better job catching the ball.
James robinson is still our best player - If not, he's definitely up there.
Trevor looked bad but much better than he did last year.. which isnt saying much - I'll leave this for a Trevor thread.
Lloyd was a liability, i knew we shld have gave muma the start since lloyd missed so much time. - I was a little surprised looking at the stats after the game to see that Lloyd led the team in tackles.  From watching the game, I mostly remembered his mistakes.
Darius williams tackles worse than me - I agree that he had multiple bad missed tackles.
Shaq griffin being on terry mclaurin was the dumbest thing iv seen campbell shlda been on that, we prolly win this game if he dont get that big td - That play was a killer.
Josh allen was quiet but had a really nice tfl - He also had a crucial forced fumble.
Zay jones was meh
Marvin jones was solid - I would probably reverse these.  Zay Jones had 6 receptions for 65 yards.  I'd call that solid.  Marvin Jones had 4 receptions for 38 yards.  I'd consider that more meh.

Damn right, excuse the fans for being tired of [BLEEP] losing!! We get all excited just to watch them give the damn game away with BS penalties and missed opportunities. It’s getting old.

And to think they left at least 15 more points on the field.

Other than the TD late to Dotson what other play did he give up?

Griffin? He gave up the bomb td to terry and the first td to dotson

I still like what I saw today even with the loss. We left a lot of points on the field, but we moved the ball, which is already a huge improvement from last year. Trevor made mistakes, but I'm considering this his rookie year. This was probably his second-best game.
