Wingard’s light bulb has came on as of late.

He played 12 defensive snaps vs the raiders.

What exactly did that change?

(Prior to that he played 4 defensive snaps all season)

He flexed after he made a tackle. He screamed LETS GOOOOOOOO as loudly and enthusiastically as he could when the team made a stop. Last year, that scream was just....half-hearted. By next season he should be able to take over as the next Jaxon DeVille. That, or guest appearances on AEW. Time will tell.

He "has came on"

As in - he came onto the field for 12 snaps.

And then was replaced with a guy who gave up a 100% completion rate in coverage and was credited with a missed tackle.

I don't know but I don't like Jenkins at all, he is mediocre at best.

Wing is a great player to have on the team, whether on special teams or safety. He's deserving of being on the 53.

We played a lot of heavy nickel today with erndon outm. I think he'll get a lot of snaps in that package

Hes usually solid up and around the box. Its when he has to drop into Coverage is when things go bad. Just keep him going forward and attacking and he should be fine.

Jenkins is even worse in coverage. Jenkins almost lost us the game while Wingard gave us a chance to win.

Dewey knows that Somebody's gotta say it.

Urban Meyer is the worst thing that has ever happened to the Jaguars.

Worse than Jeff Fisher.

Worse than Vacation Boy Ross.

Worse that Who Douglas.

Worse than the Pat's Referees.

Worse than Gene Smith.

Wrong.  Gene Smith destroyed this franchise for numerous years.

....did you hear him after the OSU loss? I wanted to punch my TV. "This is when I tell my coaches and players they need to earn their leadership stripes" [BLEEP], you talked down to the coaches you hired and told them they sucked because they didn't have the CFB trophies you did, which meant nothing at this level. You ain't earned a stripe in your life, you schlep.

I disagree. Smith was bad for all football related stuff; Meyer was bad because he's a scumbag.

Fun Facts:

Hugh Douglas got his first 3 sacks against the Jaguars way back in 1995 in a week 3 game of the Jaguars at Jets.

The Jets spent a 1st round pick on Douglas and Kyle Brady that year. Brady also got his 1st TD against the Jags in that same game.

Both players would later play for the Jags.

The impact of Urb was only for 1 year and TBH resulted in us getting Doug Pederson which is great for the long term.

Gene killed this team for ~ 10 years with his idiotic drafts and free agent acquisitions.

It's kind of like comparing OJ to Ted Bundy.   OJ seemed worse and is more memorable but Ted Bundy caused much more pain with his 20+ killings (as did Gene Smith killing this team over the course of many years).
