It's honestly a shame how accustomed we've become to this type of event. We're just a society in collapse.

They need to stop calling him a 'her'. I know there are bigger issues here but enabling and encouraging these people and their supporters keeps the insanity going.

Where else would you go, if you could?

I would be happy with the following:

Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Vodice, Croatia.
Banja Luka, Bosnia.
Mahon, Menorca.
Sarmiento, Argentina.

Those are all great places.  I wonder if L2L agrees that they don't have the social collapse symptoms he sees here

They most likely don't. As they're post Yugoslavian territories that rely on tourism in some cases to keep their GDP up. I love most of the places I have visited in Eastern Europe. The food, the history, the women. My wife is from Banja Luka. Our dollars are double in value over there. I ate like a King for a week a few years ago. I would happily retire there if possible and live off my US dollar twice fold if it's still a thing 25 years from now.

I have personally not been to Menorca but I want to go at some point before I die. Due to heritage reasons. Sarmiento can be fairly cold in Argentina. However, in the event the world goes to [BLEEP]? Total nuclear fallout? I have been told it would be best to get as far away from the Northern Hemisphere as much as possible.

Which, it makes sense I guess with radiation concerns. However. You would think nukes would disturb the arctic shelves and sheets of ice anyways which should technically have some impact on the southern hemisphere. Since we're on a globe and all.

After seeing some gorgeous terrain in Italy watching the Giro d'Italia and another race in Brittany, France, I am thinking those are places to visit if nothing else.

The coast of Brittany is ridiculous

Nova Scotia and Newfoundland are closer and easier to get to and are on my bucket list.

No problem!

They'll just take their reparations from their nearest local business..

What a waste of everyone's time. They are trying to profit off the deaths of their loved ones. Shameful.

I almost took a job in Nova Scotia when I was 20 years old. It would have been way too far away from my family here in Jacksonville and I would have never married my wife or had my son more than likely. But, I often think about what might have been. I would have taken a job on as trackman for Rail America up there.

I want to visit it someday for sure.
