There really wasn't an issue unless Ford wants to stop franchising in an area. The Franchise gets screwed over a lot by Ford and they have to do what they say. What he's saying is that the franchise contracts themselves should have spelled this out. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Some Trump supporters here said he was good for exposing corruption that I don't see. They said I can't see corruption. I gave a very tangible example of corruption that I do see. That's all. It's not federal level corruption so it has nothing to do with Trump. Sorry.

I heared that they thought they got Trump for saying something but didn't look into the details yet. Not sure how the subpoena would be an issue. The only thing I can think of is the order to turn over the docs but since the docs weren't classified and were personal records, they doc match the order and don't have to be turned over per NARA and established precedent. Ford saw what Teslas doing and said they where going to cut out the dealerships. This bill HB-67 prevents that for the reasons I described above. No way listening to Erick Erickson on the ride home and he was saying it. Played a clip where he said he knew they hadn't turned over everything because he was busy and wanted to get his personal stuff out of the boxes first.

By acknowledging that he had the documents in his possession and that he had reasons for not returning them promptly, Trump’s statements corroborated allegations he’s charged with regarding mishandling these materials." "At one point, Baier asks Trump directly why he didn’t give sensitive documents back to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and Trump notes that it’s because he wanted to remove personal belongings and because he was “busy.” “Why not just hand them over then?” Baier asked. “Because I had boxes. I want to go through the boxes and get all my personal things out,” Trump said. “I don’t want to hand that over to NARA yet. And I was very busy, as you’ve sort of seen.” “But according to the indictment, you then tell this aide to move to other locations after telling your lawyers to say you’ve fully complied with the subpoena when you hadn’t,” Baier asked. “But before I send boxes over, I have to take all of my things out,” Trump argued. “These boxes were interspersed with all sorts of things, golf shirts, clothing, pants, shoes, there were many things.” These statements are significant because, as some legal experts have noted, they indicate that Trump knew he was holding on to information he was asked to return. That admission, ultimately, could be used to show that Trump was aware of what he was doing and involved in the retention of the documents. “Trump confessed to personally going through the boxes and had no explanation for why classified records from those boxes wound up in his personal desk,” national security attorney Bradley Moss told Newsweek. “He placed himself at the scene of the retention and obstruction. This is the stuff of nightmares for a defense attorney.” We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Chris Christie: Trump 'Admitted to Obstruction of Justice' (mediaite.com) “Last night he said the reason he didn’t give the documents back was because he’s just so very busy and he didn’t have time to respond to a grand jury subpoena because he needed to get his golf shirts and pants out of the box. I mean, does anybody in America believe this?” Christie added. And when you think about how many days of golf he’s played since he left office, maybe he could have skipped a couple of rounds of golf and gone through the boxes to respond to a subpoena from a grand jury,” I think that pretty much sums it up. The guy hung himself, and if anyone else was in the situation he is in this morning, they'd be asking for a plea bargain.

Dude opens his mouth and either lies or incriminates himself on a daily basis.
It’s a sad state of affairs that we had to and will probably have to chose from Biden and Trump for president. It’s like a bad movie.
