Which makes perfect sense given they were members of a reserve logistics unit out of Georgia. I don't know if he's attempting to establish some kind of narrative, but the facts about military roles and deaths from conflict would quickly dispel it if anyone in the MSM were willing to confront him. I wouldn't hold my breath.

His argument is that a disproportionate number of minorities make up the military ranks. That's a fact. However, a very large percentage of those minorities work in support roles, as do 85% of all military rank and file. Only 15% of the military are in combat arms. Of that 15%, white servicemembers are the majority (with Hispanics making up the next largest percentage) as well as those killed and wounded in combat. In no way am I attempting to diminish the deaths of those who were killed in Jordan. But in reality, their deaths, in both race and occupation, are outliers from the actual numbers killed by enemy fire. Using their deaths in an attempt to establish a racial narrative is shameful and dishonest.

I could tell you why but I'd probably get banned.

Whites make up the majority of enlisted in combat roles because they make up the majority of the US population in general.

That's what you were going to say, right?

It's OK.  You're not the only one here.  The others are more subtle, though.

Damn...this election could be a landslide. And this is without it being a 3-way race in which the margins are even bigger.

It seems like the news media calls anything "breaking news" these days.

Basic level statistics tell you this is beyond wrong. A larger portion of the country would mean logistics would have more whites. But that's not the case.

I will just saty this, when I took the ASVAB as a senior in high school the recruiter said I could have any job I just said "if I join it'd be infantry" and he said everyone that scores high on this test chooses infantry.

That's just the hero complex that whites and Hispanics have instinctually.

Did you serve? An off the cuff remark from a recruiter doesn't mean much.

"Learn how to do it yourself. Especially if you're a homeowner". Agreed.

Took me 2 hours of research today to come to the conclusion I blew a fuse within my inside unit for my AC after the thermostat was dead.

The flow switch was still good. The drain line was unclogged and free of water.

All it took was a removing of six screws to get a panel off and looking at a little motherboard or switchboard with a blinking red light next to it.

$8 fix. Size 3 fuse. Probably would have paid hundreds of dollars today for a technician to come out here and scratch his [BLEEP] and balls for four hours and sell me on some nonsense.

We operate septic systems for about 20 clients, both homeowners and businesses. Last week we got a call from a homeowner that the alarm light was on and had been for several days. We drove 40 miles one way thinking we're going to have to pull and replace a pump only to find the breaker had tripped. Had she checked the breaker box she would've saved herself $1000. As it is, the tank was way too full, about to back up into her house, and we couldn't let all of that go into her field so she had to call a septic hauler to get her tank pumped.

Homeowners, renters and businesses can't ignore stuff or be willfully ignorant about stuff because they don't want to deal with it or it's going to cost money. Sometimes a lot of money.

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

Just gonna ignore the statistics part?

And every member of my family served. I'm too much of an [BLEEP] to be part of anything

We would need firm numbers to react to.
"This national guard logistics group out of of southern Georgia included three black people" is not really anything to build a statistical understanding around.  Obviously southern Georgia has more black people than most places, you can drive around and see that.  Plus the census would tell you. But in terms of the racial makeup of different parts of the military, I don't think that information is widely published..

He’s a college student and is so indoctrinated that he doesn’t realize he’s contradicting himself. This is a product of schools and an ideology which demands of its followers what to believe and not how to think.

The House can subpoena whomever it wants, but it does not have any oversight role with local prosecutors.  It oversees DoJ only.
