Wow.. Times have changed. Back in the 80's, being called a "Farmer" was one of the lowest digs you could tell someone. Nowadays, I see it as a badge of honor.

Edit: See "Farmer Ted" from Sixteen Candles haha

They seriously couldn't have Trump there before Biden. Trump should change it and spend 2 days there. Go out on a night patrol, give a speech at midnight, etc.

Very convenient, one might say fortuitous in the timing!

This Restaurant Owner Offered to Open a $10,000 Bottle of Wine as a Prize for Osama Bin Laden’s Capture
Osama Bin Laden became the world’s most notorious and hunted man after 9/11. He was blamed for over 3,000 deaths that occurred that day, and the entire U.S. Army was hot on his tail. A few years later, Ted Balestreri, a restaurant owner from California, made a costly joke that turned into a reality. He suggested that if Leon Panetta, the U.S. Defense Secretary, were to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden, he would open a bottle of his 141-year-old Chateau Lafite Rothschild, estimated at roughly $10,000. Once Bin Laden was taken down in 2011, Panetta told his wife, 'Tell Ted to get that bottle ready.’ The former Secretary of Defense enjoyed the bottle with several of his friends in CIA shot glasses, which they were allowed to keep.

Who knows, they may be using Tucker's name for more exposure than they would get for just some government person. Saying Ukraine contacted him in November would be admitting to leaks and the CIA and Ukrainian spy bunkers being real if they knew the interview was happening and what hotel to be at. Could also be made up to just arrest someone.

I did not cheer on any illegal aliens to do anything , let alone to murder anyone.  All I said was you can't blame the whole thing on Biden.  In fact you should blame most of it on the murderer.  The part you want to blame on the politicians, yes, Biden gets some of the blame, but so do past Presidents along with current and past members of Congress.

Why do misunderstand disagreement so profoundly?  And why aren't the mods stepping in?

Sometimes I wonder if some people are posting from jail.

And it's not easy to smuggle phones into jail. So, regardless of what kind of phone SC1 might be posting from now, it probably smells even more like FSG's toilet than it did before!

I think it must be incredibly painful.

My mom said when she went through nursing school the absolute worst internship she rotated through at the hospital was the burn unit. She said the smell alone was something she had a very hard time with. I've never had a sense of smell so I don't know how to relate to that but I cook steaks on a grill so I can only imagine based on what I see fire doing to those steaks.

You must live in a bubble if you think the people here are strange, and I don't mean that to be offensive. All of the things you mentioned are quite common but we're a relatively small group here so it would seem magnified.

Maybe so, but sometimes this place resembles one of those "people of Walmart" things.  Like they dumped a trailer park from "Cops" in here.

Combination of the anonymity plus usually being at home while posting so sometimes alcohol is involved.

Just makes people seem worse than they are.

You can go to any online forum and find the exact same type of people in pretty much the exact same percentages.

And then there's those struggling with some mental health issues as well.

As always, those who display "abnormal" characteristics tend to draw far more attention than those who do not.  I haven't seen anything to indicate there are more than a few posters here significantly outside of the mainstream.

Marty, why would you label someone with chronic health problems as "weird"?
