The legal tamper period is just the new start of free agency with the illegal tampering still going on and just moved even earlier.

yup

13 mil a year, not bad for a 24 yr old WR that has averaged about 800 yrds and 7 TDs a season the last couple years

Would rather use that money to make Ridley an offer

100% onboard with Gabe Davis! This UCF alum is happy and I bet Gabe is too!
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

I like Ridley. But he’s not a #1. He was out speed option. I was listing to some draft/FA analyst on Cowherd a week or so ago talking about how you need the qualities of a #1 among your starting receivers combined. That tells me we need a contested catch guy in the draft or FA. It could be a wide out or a TE. Brock Bowers at #17?

His route running is elite. He has great speed but not elite. Elite agility too.

He can be a #1 but he's no Terrell Owens as far as his work ethic so i don't see him being viable for more than 3 years

Apparently when Morse was here for his visit he was raving about Gabe and talking to him about signing here with him.

Gabe is cheaper, doesn't cost a 2nd round pick and younger.

And I'm of the opinion that if Christian didn't get hurt last season Ridley wouldn't have been a 1,000 yard receiver.

If Ridley was willing to sign for 15 million per, I might agree with you.   I doubt he signs for that.
Black Jaguar: Yeah, it's a thing.

It was always the Jags!!!!

That's WR2 money. Not WR3 money.

$13M per sounds about right.  I'll be interested to see how the incentives line up, but I doubt Gabe sees any significant portion of that unless someone else in that room gets hurt.

If there's is one person that can take the best out of skill players, this person is Doug...look at Engram, Kirk and even Zay Jones lol

I would be fine with Kirk, Gable, Zay, Parker, Tim Jones/Cooks/late draft pick, plus Etienne and Engram and with a good OL we would be ok

I am greedy. I want Brian Thomas Jr. at pick 17 or Xavier Leggett in RD2. We need a bigger receiver that can work the outside still.

Would love Brian Thomas at 17.  Then we look at CB/DT in rounds 2/3 and fill in with OL and DL depth for the rest of the draft.

Savage a former 1st round pick for the Packers

If you were going to sign 1 WR from the available group with cost as a factor, Gabe made the most sense to me.  He was the "bargain" receiver that also has decent size.  All the other guys who had projected salaries near his or less are all little guys.

Wow extremely happy with the new signings today

Haven't watched the WRs yet, but I actually started with watching the QBs for 2-QB dynasty fantasy league purposes and was watching a Spencer Rattler highlight reel which was really more of a Xavier Legette highlight reel in my eyes.  Really liked what I saw out of him.
