The Darby contract is very low risk, makes me think they still go cb in the draft. But to swap Williams contract for that darbys and the fact he’s a better fit is very good roster management

*clots trade a 4th for Mac Jones...

Seriously though, DT DaQuan Jones resigned with the Bills and Aaron Jones signed with the vikes. That's about all so far today.

Edit: Javon Kinlaw to the jests. Darnold the new starter in Minnesota

Names still out there to consider:
Jonah Williams, OT
Kendall Fuller, CB
Patrick Queen, LB
D.J. Reader, DL
Josh Uche, Edge
King Henry, RB
Sheldon Rankins, DT
Calais Campbell, DL

Michael Danna from the chefs is a guy to look at as a rotational rush end. He's got 5 and 6.5 sacks in limited snaps the past two seasons and he's only 26. I wanted Bryce Huff to add, but the contact he got was huge. Danna could be a much more effective Chaisson.

Can we get Calais as a cheap veteran rotation guy to finish out his career here?

Probably, he's not getting a huge number. I just wonder why he's trying to play another year, he's about outta gas.

Uche and Rankins please.

Sign Ridley. Extend Allen. Pick 17 on CB, Dline, Oline.

Sucks that Agnew is on his way out. That dude was electric at times.

His game speed is on another level. Dude had ‘98 Fred-type break away beep beeps.

Let's sign Hunter, Reader, Derrick Henry , and agree to a deal with Ridley and call it a day

This makes the Davis contract look even better

His value is too high for the limited role. The Jags signed a better PR and for KR he is ok but has been better in the past, only 9 KR last year.

Younger, slightly less guaranteed money, bigger, more production.  Looks like a bargain by comparison.  Hopefully it plays out that way on the field this year.

Will be interested to see if there's any guaranteed money for D'Ernest.

Good.  Maybe this will help Baalke to resist from his temptation to draft another RB on day 2.

Yeah, that's why I want to see if there are any guarantees.  If there aren't any, this signing is somewhat meaningless.

If he brings Ridley back, we're in business. Cannot overstate how important that is. To maintain continuity and leadership. Especially on offense. Gives us ALL the breathing room we need in the draft now.

This is a very important off season. Pull this off. Extend Allen. Hit a few early picks in 2024's draft and we're right back in the play-off mix potentially. Just need to give the people hope. So, here's to hope.

Good off season so far.

Would you guys rather select a WR like Thomas Jr. at 17 or resign Ridley and use the #17 pick on CB?

If Baalke is actually able to sign Ridley, he immediately gets A+ grade. If he drafted as well as he handles free agency this team would be in the playoffs every year.
I still don't feel it's the end of the world if he goes to New England since they can keep Zay Jones, but obviously Ridley is the better player.
