I'm a gator fan, so a bit biased, but I REALLY like Pearsall... Dude has very good hands, runs solid routes, can elevate, is tough, willingly blocks. He's gonna be a really good WR in the NFL, imo. Would be stoked to see him in black and teal.

Like I said earlier...Baalke drafted Armstead. When he was released it should have been a no brainer Baalke would reach out to him.

He probably knew it before hand, which is why we signed Gale Davis so fast. We knew we couldn't sign Ridley AND Armstead.

In all seriousness though, with Nielson I think the defense will be much improved with what we have and already brought it.

Savage is an upgrade
Darby is a wash at worst
Antonio Johnson will be out there, presumably at NCB right now. He made a lot of splash plays in limited time last year.
Allen and Walker should feast in this scheme

Really the only glaring need to upgrade is IDL, which we will in some way.

If the offense was more efficient last year we would have had 3-4 more wins even with the struggles we had at some points defensively.

IDL may upgrade on its own a bit too if Hamilton comes back to form.

They are pushing all this money to next year when they have more cap room. 3 years 51 million for Armstead but his cap hit this season will likely be around 6-7 million.

They got the money. Make it happen.
