Defense has rested and the judge recessed a week before closing arguments?  Granted I am not sitting around courtrooms all day but that sounds odd.

From what I’ve read, lawyers say it’s a good idea because it eliminates the possibility of the long weekend interrupting closing arguments. I think it’s a fair decision.

Now I am wondering how long closing arguments take.
