Las Vegas Raiders do it. Their field rolls out of the stadium during the week to get sunlight and rolls back in before game day to get prepped. Google it. A pretty cool system.

Dallas and Arizona have stadiums like that as well. Lots of engineering going with those designs.

The playing field will be sand-infilled synthetic turf laid over a shock attenuation pad. Two FIFA-regulation soccer goals at each end of the pitch will also be accommodated in the field design.

Is Jax in the path of a MLS Team as well?

It's more catered to Mr. Khan's European Team (Fulham) getting an second home field advantage within the U.S.

AT&T stadium in Dallas, does not have natural grass.
