Las Vegas Raiders do it. Their field rolls out of the stadium during the week to get sunlight and rolls back in before game day to get prepped. Google it. A pretty cool system.

Dallas and Arizona have stadiums like that as well. Lots of engineering going with those designs.

The playing field will be sand-infilled synthetic turf laid over a shock attenuation pad. Two FIFA-regulation soccer goals at each end of the pitch will also be accommodated in the field design.

Is Jax in the path of a MLS Team as well?

It's more catered to Mr. Khan's European Team (Fulham) getting an second home field advantage within the U.S.

Time Will Tell.

It's going to be great. No more worries about boiling heat, or monsoon thunderstorms.

We have to urge our city councilors to approve this.

Hehe, anyone remember playing Final Fantasy X?  Maybe future prospects should work on holding their breath. Wink

Make it all sand. Beach football at its finest, with the worlds greatest athletes, retractable roof and comfort settings for the fans.
