It is crazy to say that Trump is the more common sense vote but it's true. 

Sure seems like it right now.  This time around, Trump seems much more disciplined in his actions and inactions, such as staying moderately quiet while us Dems go through internal turmoil.  I'm not certain if he is getting better consultation (in which he is listening to) or if he's learned a lot from the past, or perhaps both.

Assuming all continues to go relatively stable for Trump, I think there is only 1 person the Dems can place as a candidate that has a decent chance of beating Trump, and that is Michelle Obama.  Sounds crazy, but the Obama White House possibility would get the Dems off the couch and down to the voting booths.  As it currently stands, most (possibly including me) will be sitting at home on election day.

I have seen a poll that shows Trump running very close to various non-Biden Democrats.  He's leading Biden by about 6 points nationwide, but other potential candidates are doing much better than that.  I think there are several Democrats who would have a decent chance of beating Trump if they get started now.  People in general don't want Biden or Trump.  They want someone new.
