Cap.  Doubt.

Did he give any further response?  Just said "Cap"?

I have young kids.  "Cap" isn't as strong a denial as you think it is...

That seems like a childish respond to be honest. The fact that he only had to say 3 letter word and put no other effort backing up his HC says alot....

I liked Trevors respond better.

Trevor's response is the company line.

I respect him for saying what he says.

But to post a twitter that says, "Cap" is silly.

It was obvious after the ETN fumble and how we collapsed that Doug lost the locker room.

It was obvious how lifeless the team was against Cleveland that Doug lost the locker room.

It was obvious how we completely showed no life or heart in Buffalo that Doug lost the locker room.

But a response of "Cap", is supposed to make us believe that Doug hasn't lost the locker room?  OK, I guess.

Nielsen comes off as an Alpha. Former DT, asks for "Violence" when his guys are playing or practicing. I still think the defense after four weeks is clearly the better unit and strength of this team.

I don't know man, this is a weird one. I know Urban Meyer was an Alpha with big time Beta results and, apart of Doug's mantra was healing in 2023 from the damage done in 2022.

Need to have some balance in the building it feels like psychology wise.

Well... I am for hire on gamedays. Give me $500 and I'll yell at everybody like Gordon Ramsay and then try and be a Monty Python montage for some of the other players. They need a Sigma on the staff.

I am that guy. Let Shad know man. I can fix this [BLEEP] team in one week!

Why did you ignore the other sentences in that journalist's tweet?

There are at minimum 5 players saying the same thing and likely more according to Gene's tweet.
That's a lot of line towing.

I'll be sensible and let it play out.

Right now, it seems like a nobody web based pundit trying to lay claim to a scoop that may not have any legs.

How does a coach lose his locker room? Just curious to hear your take on this?

Can’t believe any media outlet anymore. First during the off-season, they tell us the Jags are a team that can make a run. Well, we disproved that.

Now, they want to prey on our desperation and spread news like this?

No he's not. Capping = lies, tricks, insincerity, play-acting.
No cap = for real, seriously.
Cap = no way, that's a joke.

Bring on the hieroglyphics and Rosetta stone to unlock it all. Put down the phones and have some real conversations. What is this stuff?

I guess it is just to show me that I am really old and these young guys are beyond me. Good luck everyone.

Her 2nd best lines ever. The first were:
"Ward, dont you think you were a little hard on the Beaver last night?"

I'd love to have been on the set to hear the crew reacting. Even if it was the 50's.

At 0-4, our season is pretty much over as far as playoff hopes. If I were Shad, I would have been tempted to fire Baalke and Pedersen after the loss to the Texans. After thinking about it however, what's the point? He might just as well keep the staff assembled through this home game against the Clots (which we SHOULD win), and then let them take the team over to London for two weeks, too, because they are used to traveling over there, and they have had success doing so in the recent past.

If the losing streak continues through those three games, it would be tempting to fire the GM and HC after that, but looking at our remaining schedule, it's probably not going to get much better. Might as well ride out the season with them at that point, and enjoy some nice high draft picks.

At the end of the season, that's when I'd clean house of Baalke and the entire coaching staff. Hire Rick Spielman to be the new GM, and let him assemble a new coaching staff for next year and work with them to make the draft picks.

This whole "lost the locker room" business is nonsense.

I would say that the only Jaguars coach from memory to "lose the locker room" was Doug Marrone when players were publicly saying that they wanted a trade out of the organization, free agent players expressed no desire to sign with the franchise and you had the whole "my back hurts" debacle from Jalen Ramsey at the time.  Players had given up on the franchise.

I have not seen any "giving up" from the players thus far.  What I have seen is sloppy/poor play and everybody knows including the players, coaches and fans that they are better than that.

Sooner or later it will get turned around and the team will perform like we all expected.
