I can't believe we care this much about a staged McDonalds event. All politicians do weird stuff like this to try and make it seem like "Hey! Look at this down to earth person!" I've always seen it as the opposite. Like they're trying too hard. We know you don't want to be slinging fries.

I believe that placing them in real world situations and allowing those situations to actually be real world would be incredibly beneficial to the political class. In fact, I think we should make it law that every politician has to pull a shift at the  fast food drive through, the grocery store check out, the bar, and driving an Uber once a week while they are in office. Bonus points if we make it in Baltimore. Make those [BLEEP] holes live like normal people regularly.
