Trades should happen before the deadline.

Is there any player we likely wouldn't bring back next year that someone else could use for a playoff run? Maybe Cam but not sure who else.
I think we have a front office and coaching issue. No we don't have any elite players but we are talented enough to be in the playoff race. I don't want to get rid of anyone good because I believe the turn around would be quick if we get the right gm/head coach combo. Let them decide which players fit their model and trade away which ones don't. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff.
No, don’t trade players for peanuts.
This is the type of idiocy that Dave Caldwell employed.. Got rid of all decent veterans to rebuild. Daryl Smith, Eugene Monroe could’ve helped us

You don't trade good players that are already under contract for next year and beyond, but you do trade guys who you know won't be here next year (i.e. Robinson) for whatever you can get for them because you're about to get nothing for him at the end of the season otherwise.
The trade talk with Cam is understandable, and at this point it doesn't matter much, but Walker Little played great vs the pats and not great vs the packers.
I don't think we have a proper LT on this team.

I thought Little did fine yesterday. PFF has him at 36 pass snaps with an efficiency rating of 95%, no sacks and 3 pressures. I can live with those numbers. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

Correct, you basically are taking the compy pick formula out of the equation. Get the pick now, no need to worry about net losses/gains later. We show less advertisements to registered users. Not only that, but it depends on what the leaving player signs for elsewhere. Cam ain't getting the deal he got here or anything close to it anywhere else. His leaving in free agency won't contribute much toward a comp pick that, by the way, doesn't materialize until the 2026 draft. Get the pick now for 2025 if you can. Get whatever you can for him, or just cut his [BLEEP] as a message to the rest of the team. He should be here after the trade deadline based on his alleged attitude/behavior.

I don't think cutting him does anything toward a comp pick though I could be wrong on that and his salary is guaranteed for the year so there's no getting around it by not paying the rest of it. I'd bench him and make him inactive on game day though if we can't find a trade partner. Somebody in contention like the Vikings who just lost Darrisaw for the year should be willing to give up at least a 6th or 7th though. If you get a few teams interested maybe you can push it up to a 5th. FWIW - this has apparently always been his attitude. This is the third time in the last 5 years I've heard of him grumbling about some potential of not being the LT - whether it was moving to the right side or kicking inside for a few weeks when a guard was injured. He refuses to be a team player at every opportunity. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Glad to be wrong about takers, but we did get just a pittance for him.

Anton at LT will probably be during the offseason but depending on how things go, he could be switched over before the end of the season.
If Little goes down with an injury then Van Lanen would probably go to RT and Harrison to LT. They talked about it on the radio last night. Evidently he got in a shoving match with Doug when told he wasn't going in the game. Then Sunday he was always standing 30 yards away from the other linemen, clearly and obviously detached from everything. Hopefully ETN shows he is healthy and we can get something for him. Trading a RB for anything is a move that I fully endorse. Can find plenty of RB talent in the later rounds, and Robinson might actually have some hands and be a good complimentary back to BIgsby.
