I wonder why they didn't just SWAT raid his house and take his projector. It would be better, though, if the council quietly found a like minded private individual to use their own projector to project "sucks!" under Trump.

SAD NEWS: A mentally deranged Minnesota man reportedly committed suicide and m*urdered his wife, his ex, and his two children following President Trump’s victory.
In other words, they passed an amendment to force local governments to uphold laws in favor of taxpaying citizens rather than catering to misguided political pressure.

Nowhere does it say he did this because Trump won but as unhinged as he was it's possible that pushed him over the edge. The sad thing is he posted some crazy stuff on social media and no one thought to alert anyone. Like, call the police to do a welfare check. Someone apparently did that but likely after they heard the gunshots. I know in FL there is the Baker Act that EMS can use to have someone admitted to a facility if they are an immediate danger to themselves or someone else but I don't know what other states have that is similar. This dude had bigger problems than Trump. He was full on mental. From the article: Nephew, meanwhile, appears to have descended into somewhat of a conspiracy theorist in recent months, discussing aliens and 'harnessing the power of the center of the galaxy' in bizarre social media rants. He also appeared increasingly concerned about the prospect of a Trump-led government. 'My mental health and the world can no longer peacefully coexist, and a lot of the reason is religion,' he said in July. 'I am terrified of religious zealots inflicting their misguided beliefs on me and my family. I have intrusive thoughts of being burned at the stake as a witch, or crucified on a burning cross. 'Having people actually believe that I or my child are Satan or, the anti-Christ or whatever their favorite color of boogie man they are afraid are this week.' He had also accused Republicans of 'making it harder for women to leave' domestic violence relationships, writing 'Gilead here we come.' Gilead is an apparent reference to the Handmaid's Tale, a dystopian republic which overthew the United States and stripped away women's rights. 'Life is just a fantasy of your own construction drawn from the lattice of your own experiential reality,' he said just last month.

And I blame the left for the tragedy just as much as the murderer..

So a mentally challenged Democrat murdered his family then committed suicide. He did this because the person he wanted to be elected wasn't? That just reminds me of the old saying guns don't kill democrats do. My condolences to their family members.

This is a well-written article which examines the effect a new Trump administration will have on NASA. Particularly, this President's coziness with Elon Musk and how such a relationship could benefit Musk and take on the air of cronyism and partisanship. Rightfully so. But this writer took the time to delve into the issues and reveals how Elon could benefit taxpayers, especially when the jaw dropping numbers of how over-budget and past schedule NASA is. It's incredible. NASA and its contractors resemble nothing more than a bloated federally funded jobs program. But they could be streamlined with increased competition from SpaceX.

Elon definitely swung for the fences in aligning with Trump. We don't need to substitute once set of crony capitalists with another, but if they can keep some boundaries on that relationship, it could be a win-win-win.

I agree, which is why I don't like him being involved with any committee or bureaucratic position. Use him as an occasional consultant and out of the orbit of Washington (hey, that was pun!)
I'm game for Trump giving Elon anything and everything he wants. He singlehandedly saved democracy.

The incumbent crony capitalists aren't gone, by any means, just in a weaker position. The possible win win is creating opportunity not just for Elon or the older corporations, but also new entrants that barely even exist yet.

He doesn't patent his technologies, which practically begs others to use it. That explains a Chinese company's plans to, get this, build a rocket which returns to the tower and is captured by chopsticks. Getting him to help streamline NASA's procurement process would be a win-win. However, 69,000 employees of Big Space are going to push back with their unions and the MSM will run with it like the plague (or pandemic, if you will). I can't see it any other way. I can think of another interesting character in history that wanted his patent to be used by all. Tesla..
