We didn't know if key Republicans would split from him and maybe split the GOP. 
Today we know what we know. 
We know he tried to get Zelensky to prosecute Biden.
We know he freely shared secret info with Sergei Lavrov, on camera.
We know his first two efforts to prevent terrorists from entering were ruled to be racist and overreaching, though he did eventually strike the right balance.
We know he told people to go to the Capitol, watched them get violent, and didn't tell them to leave for three hours.
We know that 90% of Republicans will cheer him on.
And in our election we decided that was all OK.  There's nothing to be anxious about.  If Trump's second term is like the first, it will be what the people wanted.  Let the people have what they want.
And for God's sake if you don't like what the TV is saying, just turn it off next time.
Don't go around with your own anxiety that it's giving people a mental illness that somebody just made up.  Don't go around diagnosing people you don't know who don't watch TV with TV-induced mental illness just because they disagree with you.

Republican primary voters chose Trump by a 3 to 1 margin.  You can't blame Biden for that.
The Republicans who decided not to participate in the primary (more than half stayed home during the primaries) tacitly supported everything I listed also.  If they didn't agree with Trump they would have voted for a different Republican candidate.

I don't want to be drawn into another discussion about why I detest Donald Trump.  But I will say that one of the biggest reasons is the incredible volume of lies that spew out of his mouth.   I don't like someone who will go on TV and tell lie after lie after lie.  Starting with the Obama birth certificate lie and continuing with the election being stolen lie and ten thousand verifiable lies in between.  A lot of politicians will insult my intelligence, and all politicians will lie, but I am flabbergasted at the volume of lies that come from Trump's mouth.
