She would have said something like"If you are confirmed will you abide by the same policy that you want the generals to follow? " Since she didn't then it was the former not the latter. Sure it does. IF she was doing as you say why then did she not rephrase the question? She could have asked him directly if he would follow the same rule. Then you could have a point. She truly did not want an answer. She phrased it that way to bait him and for effect. The dems were obliviously working from a script that had been established. Not a good script but one just the same. That question was assigned to her and she read it. Was a bad day for those guys.

Well, at the end of the day come say Monday afternoon, he is going to be confirmed despite anyone's objections. Besides the people that were put in place by these Democrats have failed how many financial audits in a row? They are not sure how much money went where? Doesn't say much about their perceived abilities to decide who is qualified.

Trump's previous SecDefs also failed audits. You might not like it, I might not like it, but both parties agree that financial accounting is way down the list in terms of priorities at the department of Defense and that's OK. Also, neither Trump nor Hegseth is promising to bring accounting back at DoD. You just threw out a red herring.

Personally, I don't care how much experience they have running an organization. The criminals in charge right now made me not give a [BLEEP] about that..

He was required to pick candidates the Dems agreed with. (between the lines, people that would play ball with the establishment) That process does not compare at all with this one and using your word a red herring. Who knows if all of them will work out. That is for us to see. The bar is laying on the ground and shouldn't be too hard to step over. I bet after yesterday the DEI "general" crowd will be a bit nervous. We have 44 Generals? ps I believe the video above disproved one of your points.

Newsom searching for who's responsible for dry fire hydrants is like O.J. searching for the real killer.

I watched an interview with Newsom and he stated that since State Farm dropped 70% of their policyholders in that region were dropped in July 2024, many people opted for the California state policy that was offered as an alternative. However, since that policy is expensive and doesn't provide adequate coverage, homeowners will still need help. WAIT ..... did he just state that their California offered insurance is expensive and doesn't provide adequate coverage ....... SO, California is also in on ripping homeowners off ----- yet, they continually preach about not gouging during times of crisis. State Farm left because the Democratic legislators engaged in price fixing, not allowing the companies to charge rates commensurate with the risks. Seems the state jumped in and now is holding the bag they wanted to force the insurance companies to. This should only add to the State's large budget deficit. Seems they are running the state into the ground financially.
