Immaterial, it was never "his" place, the same as this one will never be Trump's plane. It's our country's plane and will belong to the Armed Forces

Yes, you are right. Unlike the helicopter Bill Clinton got from the Saudi's, the 500k in jewelry Hillary got and the other "gifts" previously outlined by Drifter in this string.  Where is the outrage about those?

I’m sceptical of all of them.  On the surface they reek of foreign governments buying influence.  But you are 100% correct, you either accept them all or condemn them all.

That is why the Qatar gift is being accepted by him and planned to be put in the Trump Library.

"Originally planned to be delivered by 2021, delays and cost overruns for the estimated $4bn construction programme have made it less likely that the two new planes on order will be available for much, if any, of Trump's second term in office, which expires in January 2029."

Mikesez wants Boeing to deliver those planes despite the issues in hopes that the wings fall off during flight.

The incompetence of Boeing, and the needless complexities of DoD procurement, are separate issues.  I guess you want to make sure that Vance is the one in the plane when the wings fall off, not Trump.

The media wants to cover for James Comey by using the explanation of “diner lingo” for the term 86. We know that they use it to say that they’re out of something and bars use it when they say they’re going to toss somebody out of the bar, but the term is much older than the depression era as Wikipedia and others are claiming.
One explanation they tried to come up with is that during the depression in the soup kitchens, a standard soup pot held 85 cups, so if you were number 86 you were out of luck. But again the term is older than that. Restaurants and bars picked up the terminology and adopted it within their “lingo“ but the numbers have a meaning and that is the standard grave is approximately 8 feet long and 6 feet deep.
To say you’re going to 86 somebody is much different than saying an item on the menu is 86. As Paul Harvey would say, “now you know the rest of the story.“

No, I expect Trump to get Boeing to get their [BLEEP] together before then. He'll Make American Manufacturing Great Again no matter how much you resist it.

Joe Biden Had Prostate Cancer While President, His COVID Advisor Says - Newsweek

Ezekiel Emanuel, an oncologist and professor who served as a COVID-19 advisor in the Biden administration, said Tuesday that former President Joe Biden "probably" had prostate cancer at the start of his presidency...

...Emanuel told MSNBC Morning Joe's Joe Scarborough on Monday that although Biden's diagnosis is new to the public, he's likely been dealing with it since the beginning of his presidential term more than four years ago.

"I just want to stop you here," Scarborough said. "So, this is not speculation. If you have prostate cancer that has spread to the bone, then he most certainly--you are saying had it when he was president of the United States."

"Oh, yeah," Emanuel responded. "He did not develop it in the last 100, 200 days. He had it while he was president. He probably had it at the start of his presidency in 2021. Yes, I don't think there's any disagreement about that."...

Her performative protest went too far. However, given the chaotic political  leadership over the last four years, I’m sure she believed it perfectly acceptable to assault law enforcement without repercussions. My guess is she was expecting to be lauded.

Your problem continues to be that you think everyone else is as dumb as you are. It's understandable of course, because that's the hard cap on your cognitive capabilities, but it's still your problem.

Federal Judge Who Blocked ICE Arrests May Have Conflict Of Interest: Report

The husband of the Biden-appointed judge who ruled earlier this week that federal immigration agents must obtain individual arrest warrants on all suspected illegal aliens before detaining them has a financial interest in seeing President Donald Trump’s mass deportation efforts halted, according to a new report.

Independent journalist Laura Loomer, in a lengthy X post, wrote that the husband of U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston, who recently ruled that the Trump administration may not arrest additional undocumented immigrants without a warrant, is a California multifamily real estate broker. She said Marc A. Thurston works primarily with “the illegal alien and immigrant community,” and has posted on Instagram criticizing Trump’s mass‑deportation and immigration policies as harmful to multifamily real‑estate brokers and investors.

Interest comments. I so not believe those issues are being ignored. The issue is they are a bit down the critical path to address in a sane way. That is unless you are a proponent of a trillion dollar bill that politicians can skim money from. You are going to need to be patient on those as the repair is in progress. Both of those issues will naturally get boosts from what is being done.

Has nothing to do with race.  We've sparred about politicians from both parties and all races.  You guys post about politicians who aren't actually in control to laugh at them.  I try to focus on who is in power or might be in power and what they're actually doing, not what they're saying.  But it's not funny so you guys just think I'm ruining your fun.

What critical path issues are being addressed now? I don't see any.  Government spending is still higher than it was 12 months ago.
