Kanye has already tranformed I think...he used to be Whoopie Goldberg I'm pretty sure.

He's crazy enough on his own that he might break the curse. Or create a whole new, worse generation of them...with North West leading the charge.

I liken it to trying to describe what a banana tastes like to someone who's never tried it. You cannot relate on any level or even care to think about it as any kind of option, so you feel it's wrong.
Maybe banana was a poor choice......
Anyway, imagine the tremendous urge, almost feeling there is no other option but to move forward, at her age, with her public persona. Takes guts for sure and huge bananas.

Or severe mental illness.
I'm betting the latter.

Nope. Banana was an excellent choice.

I really hate when people make random comparisons like you did with adults being children. It's just takes away from the actual topic.
from the article:
"Should I let my kid go to school as a girl, or should I make my kid go to school as a boy? Should my child be in therapy to try to change what she says she is, or should she be supported?”
Yes you should make your child go to school as a boy, yes your child should have therapy if needed to help them understand boys and girls are natural different and that's good, accepting what they are is apart of the child rearing process. Children pretend to be all kinds of things, from cats to dogs, aliens, cowboys, Indians, princesses, and yes even the opposite gender. PARENTING comes in by explaining to a child this is pretend, this is reality, this is who you are, this is acceptable this is not. My oldest boy at one point played with his sister and four female cousins so much he said to me one day, daddy I wish I was a girl so I could do all the things they do. So is my Son "transgender" or is he just displaying a desire to be included with his playmates. According to that psychology I should have said 'Well soon maybe your a girl on the inside, you should explore that and I'll accept you no matter what'. That's garbage, I took him outside tossed the ball around, he made friends with the neighbors son and he's a normal 8 year old boy today.

"Dr. Paul R. McHugh, the former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital and its current Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry, said that transgenderism is a “mental disorder” that merits treatment, that sex change is “biologically impossible,” and that people who promote sexual reassignment surgery are collaborating with and promoting a mental disorder."

I'm glad you took the time to throw a ball with your son...more parents should take a few minutes or a couple of hours a day to interact with their children. It's called parenting.

Quote:The bolded text is complete and utter nonsense.
I'm not claiming to have the reason nailed down, but I do agree that it is a mental disorder. Like many other mental disorders they can come about many different ways, perhaps even by a chemical imbalance at birth, but it's a disorder nonetheless. It's no different then when skinny people see themselves as fat and cause themselves harm to try and physically change their bodies. Or when like I said before a grown adult reverts back to a child state and doesn't display the ability to function as an adult. There are disorders where the individual loses their identity this isn't all that rare, but in every other case we treat the identity loss, unless they decided I was born with the wrong sex organs then it's different!

We can all discuss this until we're blue in the face; but the fact of the matter is, everybody is entitled to and everybody has their own opinion(s).
P.S. ESPN and the ESPYs should be ashamed of themselves.
Over and out.
No one has claimed otherwise.

You obviously can have whatever opinion you want, but to say it is a flat out disorder with, I'm assuming, limited knowledge seems a little silly to me.
