I get it, but it wasnt like he as lighting it up the second half of the season either.... Iirc, other than the game against philly with chenne, he wasnt all that impressive.
Sorry. Hurns won't surpass Robinson in my book.

Robinson will always be lined up against the other teams top CB this season. That should show you who the better WR is going to be.

Still love Hurns doe.

The 2 deep TD's against the Bengals secondary were nothing too?
I get the feeling that any WR outside of AR15 will be a non factor come game days. As it stands right now JT80 and AR15 are #1 and #2 in our offense. Lee/Hurns/everyone else will be battling for scraps to the tune of 1 or 2 catches a game.

naw, that wasn't nothing. He should of had one more

i truly agree with you

From what I've seen from Allen Robinson to date is he is a good go to guy for short yardage, with great hands to make fantastic catches at times for the team.  I don't see him doing what Allen Hurns has done during that same season which is being a deep threat, and knocking off tackles to get into the endzone.   That doesn't necessarily make Hurns automatically better than Robinson, because they are simply to different types of weapons for the offense.  One is a deep threat, and the other is a short yardage threat (kind of like Wes Welker was for example nobody bashed Wes for not being a constant deep threat).
Would anyone know hurns official weight this year..

Robinson has the edge on all of them to my eye as of now.

They are all young and only time will tell ultimately.
Hurns still has inconsistent hands.

Ummm no.
Dropped a perfect TD from Bortles. Dude dropped it in perfectly in between 2 defenders. I guess hitting him in the chest was bad placement.
He is starting to worry me. He is not having good TV games. Maybe practice?
At this point, I wonder how good our offense would be with Amari, AR15, and JT? We might struggle pretty badly if our run game gets shut down. Our coaches might know that and that's why we're heavy on the run game this year. Receivers dropping too many passes and can't get open.

I think he will be fine, but you will have to live, unfortunately, with plays like that.  He has shown the ability to make touch catches and also drop the easy ones.

What I did like seeing on that play is his speed.  Deceptively fast.  He was gaining ground on the DB.
I still remember the first quarter of the first game last season. You would have thought Hurns was going to break the all-time single game receiving record.

I'm not overly impressed with the Jaguars WRs. ARob is basically an average #2 WR. Behind him Lee and Hurns are typical slot quality WRs with Greene a not-to-shabby utility guy. After these guys you have a few dime-a-dozen near scrubs.

I think calling ARob a #2 is going a bit too far. The guy makes the right moves, cuts, and finds an opening in the defense. If he caught those passes tonight, you'd be saying he was great. He rarely drops passes, I'm not sure what his deal was tonight. Seattle has shown you don't need Randy Moss on your team to win. You just need a strong run game, a quarterback, and a mean defense.
