The Jaguars were meeting with Murray about half an hour ago and apparently they were making full-on push to get him to sign using coaches and players to build their case.

Sweet, hopefully we hear something soon!
I wonder what the Eagles are doing.

Analytics to maximize amount of Oregon players

At this hour? Sleeping in their nest probably.

DeMarco Murray is not an Oregon player.

Oklahoma, Oregon same thing

Probably other Eagles.
Quote:Our competition for Murray was supposed to be Arizona, who just signed Blount.
More likely the Raiders and Eagles.  Raiders signed Roy Helu (back up) and their Demarco Murray clone, Latavius Murray seems poised to break out this year.

<p style="margin-left:0px;">It might be between us and the Eagles right now.  I am worried for three reasons.  1)Murray may want to play in Chip Kelly's system, 2)he may want to play the Cowboys twice a year, and 3) the Eagles might have more money to pay him after the Jags have thrown so much money at a bunch of backups (and Philly has a lot of money now that McCoy is gone and Maclin won't be back).  One other tidbit in favor of Murray to the Eagles is that he and Sam Bradford played together at Oklahoma and Bradford was just traded to the Eagles.  My money is on Philly at this point, but you never know.

Do you know how much they have? I read somewhere we have $31 million.
I went to the official Cowboys forum just to see what their fans think about DeMarco Murray and the expectation he will leave Dallas. Some posts mention statistics that debunk the myth that he fumbles a lot. Other fans explained the reason people think he has a fumbling issue is the timing or location. I agree he does not have a fumbling problem. How can you say he fumbles a lot when he fumbled only 6 times in 1105 runs over four seasons? They are not worried about injuries either because he is a tough dude who played with a broken hand last year. The only major concern about him is declining if he plays somewhere else while being overpaid. I am not worried about that because he would split carries with Denard Robinson, not get the ball 400 times.

He has 12 fumbles in 53 games played. Not 6.
Adrian Peterson had 14 fumbles in his first 4 years, and led the league his 3rd year. Tiki Barber had 9. Frank Gore had 16....and still averages about 3.5 a year. Sometimes they figure out ball security sometimes they dont.

Big Emmitt Smith fan here...and I tell my fellow fans to look at his fumble stats.  Anyway, Murray has promised to go back to Dallas with any offer(s) he gets and give them a chance to match it.
