Quote:People are really going nuts over one win...

The Jags could easily lose their next 3 before the bye.

As ChiefJag correctly pointed out yesterday.....you can't use that cop-out when Bradley was part of the process that built the roster the past 2 years.
You really sound like a fan of this team!  What a [BLEEP] you are.
Quote:You can if that's what it is taking to turn the team around.

By your own words, you like the way Caldwell is building the team.  Why go back on that assessment now?

Hahaha nice try. I'm not. I like what Caldwell is doing. I'm just pointing out to the people that try to bash the talent base as a way to make excusies for Bradleys horrible coaching.
So, you've laid out 16 pages of trash on Bradley, but you don't want him fired.  Very entertaining.

Sorry if the truth hurts.

I live in reality not wishcasting.

You do admit after Shack and Gene, the roster was talent depleted, right?

Did you honestly expect the team to win this year given the talent, irrespective of the coach?
Quote:3-4, 1-6. If thats a fail, then GusBus & Babich is a SUPREME fail.

Again going back to comparing similar opponents, how many yards did Hilton have against the Jags?

Comparing rosters wouldn't you agree that the Texans have more talent on the defensive side than the Jags do?

Assuming you answered honestly then there appears to be an issue going on in Houston. Its not talent so one would have to surmise that the issue is coaching.

I don't want him fired TODAY.

I think firing a head coach in-season is a worthless exercise.

I'll give Bradley the rest of this season to show significant progress. If it isn't there, then yes I will want him fired on the Monday following week 17.

We've been over this.

The 1990 Cowboys weren't exactly chocked full of talent at that point either. Jimmy Johnson had that team playing better football that year. With no names throughout the defense they only gave up 300 points for the whole season. They made significant progress from Jimmy's first year in 1989. I expected something like that this season. And it wasn't too much to ask for.

LOL, the Jags got destroyed by the Colts and you're trying to throw this aesthetic crap out there???
WhataboutB.O.B is a mental midget that thought he would play tough guy in front of the camera and showed himself to be of weak mind. Much like his football team showed last night as the squeelers were making his team squeal. His poor coaching allowed them to be run over and he took it out on the reporters. If you listen closely you can hear the reporters laughing at his clown [BLEEP].

No, you can't. Because they weren't.

Quote:This kid is a sure fire HOF coach!  We better sign him quick!  His tantrum makes O'Brien's look positively giddy.

That is one unhappy Jags fan.
“Again … we are onside kick away, which we almost recovered. Almost only counts in horse shoes,” O’Brien said.

Wasn't the argument against us in the tacks game that an onside kick can't be relied on to win, so... it shouldn't be counted.  Yet here O'Brien is using it as an excuse.

When asked about trying to take some positives out of the game, O’Brien said: “I think it’s a negative. We lost. It’s negative. It’s terrible to lose. It’s not good to lose.

THE INSIGHT!  It's not good to lose.  Gee..  But hey, he said it with enthusiasm I guess.  So that counts for something I guess.

Aesthetic?

If the Jags allowed an opposition WR to get 223 yards you'd be the first one in line beating the fire Gus drum. How does a talented Texans defense allow that little midget to get 223 yards?

If you want to look at the big picture, I'm curious as to what the total yardage was given up by the defense that day.
Quote:No, you can't. Because they weren't.
Oh, they were and still are. So is his team and most everyone else other than his fanboys like you.
Quote:But Bradley got in the fact of the entire Seahawks defense and told them to "do your job".

But that different doe, right?

I'm pretty sure this is exactly what TMD wants to see on the sidelines after a bad play by the defense, or even the offense..

Gus showed he was capable of it in Seattle, but we haven't seen any of that type of  "fired up" after a bad play, by him here.

If he has done it, I haven't seen it at all and you would think a camera would have caught it and played it.

The only real reason I can think of is maybe he thinks this team is just too young to get in their faces like that, whereas Seattle was very close to competing and winning a SB, as we saw them do the soon after the "do your job" video.

Lovely.

Some things never, EVER change...
If we hired Bill O'Brien how would we ever hire Jim Harbaugh and get Rex Ryan as our D-Coordinator?
