Quote:His jags board probably goes something like:

Rd1  - LT -Tunsil

Rd2 - DT - Johnson

Rd3 - QB - Hackenburg

Rd4 -  DE -Tapper

Hmmm, seems a little light on the Linemen there.
One last mock before the combine

Recent 7 Round mock on Fanspeak, using the CBS big board.

1. Joey Bosa

2. Leonard Floyd

3. Nick Martin

4. Jaylon Smith

5. Glenn Gronk

6. Jayron Kearse

7. Moritz Boehringer

I'd love this draft personally, thought?

1. Joey Bosa ...solid pick, pass rush pair for Fowler.

2. Leonard Floyd ...would not be advocate for back-to-back edge rusher, but great value here.

3. Nick Martin ...backup or developmental center in 3rd round, no thanks.

4. Jaylon Smith ...2017 gamble makes sense here if can return.

5. Glenn Gronk ...don't see any fit for him, would not be picked if name was different.

6. Jayron Kearse ...good value here, upside safety if he can drink the Gus juice.

7. Moritz Boehringer ...great athlete, but realistically no spots available for a project WR without ST value.

I agree with 3 & 5 I admit to not knowing much about later round prospects as to 1st & 2nd round ones.
With the CBS board use, my quick draft...

1. OLB Myles Jack ...best available defensive player on board, impact player, ideal otto, Dallas took Bosa also.

2. DE Kevin Dodd ...great value here, big and productive, nfl.com compares to Michael Bennett.

3. OG Joshua Garnett ...immediate starter, allows Linder move to OC, plus in run game.

4. LB Jaylon Smith ...worth the wait and 4th round gamble if he can return in 2017.

5. FS TJ Green ...round 2-3 talent in 5th, speedster with length to backup, will be ST ace, possible CB/NB verstility.

6. MLB Blake Martinez ...strong productive at Mike to backup Poz, will be excellent ST player

6. DE/OLB Victor Ochi ...dominant small school player that excelled at Shrine, worth a look.

7. WR Moritz Boehringer ...European project with freakish athletic measures, worth a look here, likely PS.

  Good job!

I'm certainly not advocating it but lately I've seen Mock Drafts with TJ Green at the end of Round 1.   All it takes is one team to be enticed by Green's workout numbers.

Kevin Dodd in Round 2 would indeed be great value.   Dodd could realistically go in the first half of Round 1.
This is what I ended up with in the simulator. Not a big-big fan of it.

RD1: Myles Jack - OLB

RD2: Shilique Calhoun - DE

RD3: Nick Martin - C

RD4: James Bradberry - CB

RD5: Roberto Aguayo - K

RD6: Kevin Hogan - QB

RD6: Willie Beavers - OT

RD7: Kenny Iloca - S

What I am hoping for this Thursday and weekend.

RD1: Myles Jack - OLB

RD2: Shilique Calhoun - DE

RD3: Carl Nassib - DE

RD4: Vadal Alexander - OT

RD5: James Bradberry - CB

RD6: Roberto Aguayo - K

RD6: Rashard Robinson - CB

RD7: Graham Glasgow - C

I'm not crazy about Bosa, but after that down through pick 146! That's potential to be very nasty down the line. Not familiar with Harlan, would like to exchange that pick for William Jackson of Houston.

Negative. We have two 6RD picks this year. If Aguayo is there we need to take him. You honestly trust Meyers right now as our Kicker? I don't know. At least Roberto showed accuracy during his carrer in FSU. And if our offense stalls in the redzone I'd like to feel 90% more confident in my kicker's ability to make these kick's Vs. Meyer's shakey attempts on extra points and anything beyond 25 yards....

Caldwell admitted to never using a draft pick on a K/P. While I understand your train of thought, there will be others.

Did you actually see Myers (see how you spell his name?) FG %? He was 26 for 30 including a 58 yarder..... FGs are not the problem. And Aguayo isn't some world beater here.

They didn't like my draft, but I did.
Jaguars Draft could look like this;

Pick 5       CB Jalen Ramsey, Florida State

Pick 38     DE Emmanuel Ogbah, Oklahoma State

Pick 69     CB De’Vante Harris, Texas A&M

Pick 103   QB Dak Prescott

Pick 146   LT Joe Haeg, North Dakota St

Pick 181    NT Nile Lawrence-Stample, Florida State

Pick 201

Pick 226

I love the trade down with the G men and scooping Shaq.  I really wasn't that high on him, but I am really starting to like the pickup if we can grab a few early picks.  It seems like there are a few LB's worth drafting...
