Quote:I agree with this. The juice is just too strong for others to see. He's now 4-13 and running the opposite way of .500. Two of those wins were against a trash Texans team. You are what your record says you are.Vince Lombardi wouldnt even have anything close to a .500 record with the roster Bradley has had. You have to be kidding me.

Quote:I think they threw 1 or 2 deep balls the entire second half. Didn't make sense. When they did run the ball they were running into 8-9 man fronts with a free rusher able to blow up the running back in the backfield. They threw the ball way too much with the lead they had and with the QB they have. Of course, that's because there was no running room all day. Reality is that this entire offense is a total dud and we should not be surprised at their ineptitude.

Plenty of blame to go around on this one.
1) Henne was Henne
2) O line was embarrassing
3) Coaching, especially going for in from that field position with so much time on the clock. If you don't convert, you turn it over in field goal range, making it a two score game and nailing the coffin lid down.
4) Prosinski shouldn't even get a plane ride home.
5) Marcedes can't catch a ball when the game is on the line.

I'm blaming the play calling, and Henne's reads. We need to throw the ball down the field. These short passes aren't working and haven't worked for the last 3-4 seasons. Bortles had twice as many yards as Henne with roughly the same amount of attempts. Take the risk, throw the ball down the field.

Being thumped in the second half is the collective fault of both the coaches for not properly adjusting and the players for the mishaps...

Quote:Bortles does have talent around him. IMO, learning in a less than perfect situation is better for Bortles long term development than having 7 seconds to throw the ball behind a cushy O-line.
I'm coming around to this way of thinking. I originally thought BB5 would and should start in November... Now I'm thinking more like late September or October.
The one fear I actually now have is we have an offensive coordinator that is to passive and causes players to start getting nervous of mistakes

Sounds fair and accurate to me.

That isn't true. Laundry staff are the unsung heroes of any NFL organization.

Quote:We don't have to worry about this because Bortles has shown the ability to audible into the right play on numerous occasions.

Quote:Once we got up 17-0, we completely stopped doing what got us there. They stopped going deep to Hurns and pulled the ole Del Rio "play not to lose" thing. Never works out well.
I agree 100% with this. As a matter of fact I kept repeating it as it was happening to the people around me. They agreed.

Well Marcedes was wide open, so hard to blame coaching on that play.

BINGO

Quote:I think sitting Bortles right now is smart. The offensive line can't pass block, they can't run block, and we have rookie receivers all over the field. They need to sit him until there is better talent around him.
I disgaree. Pass blocking today wasn't the problem. Henne had time. Run blocking was horrible.

4-13.
Bad loss today.
You're up 17 points at the half and you let up 34 straight unanswered points to lose the game?
Coaching takes a nice share of the blame for this game.
