Jensen didn't seem to show much early, but later in the preseason he showed his potential.
I would have preferred to keep him, but this isn't anything I would throw a tantrum over. Every year this time of year, there are always a disappointment or two in final cuts, etc.

This is about you believing a name or number has something to do with a player's success. Has nothing to do with other people having superstitions. Having a superstition and believing that a name or number directly contributes to someone's success are two different things. And there are plenty of insane people as well in this world. You I guess can be grouped with them.

I meant, the player has to agree to sign with another team...which virtually any player would do to get the big raise. However, if the Jags made it clear to Josey that they would add him to the 53 if he was about to get sniped he could choose to sign to the Jags 53 as opposed to the other team.

Right, but if the other team had a clearer path to PT the player might take the other opportunity even if the Jags decided to match.
In a lot of those situations the team signing a player from another's PS have the more immediate need at said position of that player.

Glad to see Jensen was able to be kept. I didn't think he would....
however....
We just cut Jensen today....how come he doesn't have to go through the 24 hour waiver thing? How were we able to sign him to the PS the same day?
I guess we lost Fleming for good. His name isn't on the PS list . Thats too bad.
