I usually steer clear of these types of threads but in light of the recent 1 year suspension of Josh Gordon, I was thinking...
CSIII for Alex Mack??
Weirder things have happened.
Quote:are you going to address the fact that shorts has 14.5 ypc in games that matter, with worse qbs throwing to him vs hurns 17 ypc in the preseason or do those facts not really help your agenda?
Whats his YPC without Blackmon on the other side?
11.8 last year....
lol.
You're too easy, yet you think you are making great points.
Also, 7 TD in 2012 (with Blackmon opposite him) , 3 TD last year, without.

Weirder than a trade that violates the CBA?
I don't think so because those 100% don't happen.

he actually only averaged 11.8 in the three games that he played in last year that justin blackmon also played in so..... there goes your theory of needing blackmon to produce. he produced equally as well with and without blackmon on the field.
hey, youre too easy...

right thats why in 2012 he averaged 17 and last year 11.8
7 TD to 3.
The Denver game they force fed Blackmon. So you're really talking 2 games to try and make your "point". lol Had Blackmon been there the entire season in 2013, you would have likely seen it play out similarly as the 2012 YPC for Shorts.
He needs Blackmon to be most effective. He's a complimentary WR not one who can dominate on his own.

blackmon only played 3 games that shorts played in. if they force fed blackmon that would mean shorts got the ball less too, so that only further helps my point (not sure why someone so smart would do that)
but you can only take from it what youre given... shorts produced literally exactly the same when blackmon was on and blackmon was off the field. so your idea that he needs blackmon to be better is completely void of credibility.
Bortles might be good. Shouldn't we just trade him while his value is high?
What can we get for Shad Kahn? Can we get a conditional first for our owner?
I love trade talk!....

You do understand that Blackmon is not going to be here this year, right?

That's how diva wannabe GMs roll.
Quote:ryan fitzpatrick instead of matt schaub and an injury prone, overrated, out of position DE makes them that much better than a 2 win team?
edit: gonna be tough for them to make the playoffs when you already guaranteed the colts win 11 games
Clowney is injury prone? This is news to me.
Overrated? Have you watched this guy play?

the 2012 & 2013 disparities prove my point. You can stake claim on a few games in 2013 to try and skew the numbers all you want. As more games would have been played the likelyhood of it getting closer to 2012's numbers would have played out.
According to YOU 3 games of 2013 season >12 games of 2012 season.
Quote:You do understand that Blackmon is not going to be here this year, right?
Yep, that means another likely pithy YPC average for SHorts.

on top of that, TMD, poochie, shorts had 2 of his best games against arguably the best defenses in the NFL. Seattle and san fran (blackmon inactive) .....
there is no sample set to compare them to in 2012.....
just so you know blackmon's ypc career is less than shorts too......
just admit you dont have any idea what youre talking about, its pretty evident.

Which is still better than what we get from Blackmon this year.

also 2012 had an entirely different coaching staff, totally different offense. thats likely the difference. but shorts rose to the occasion with and without blackmon.
your argument is completely destroyed.
p.p.s just for fun and good measure... andre johnson only averages 13.7 his career and 12.9 last year.... just fun facts.

LOL!!!! did you watch that Seattle game????
So many of Shorts' catches were in garbagetime. After Seattle was up by 20 or 27.

are you being serious about the injury prone thing?

Yes I am being serious. How is he injury prone?

Hahahhahhahahahhaha!!!!!!
no, he did not.
He's done very little without Blackmon on the other side.

i have statistically proven to you that he has done exactly the same with him and without him on the other side.
again, just because you say something doesnt mean its true.
