No I ran the entire kitchen.
Quote:Wow look at this, Another FBT personal attack post. Keep up the good work, Administrator.

Do you even know what the duties of this board's admins and moderators entail?

So it's time to cook?
Quote:So you want to pay 2 guards massive contracts? Thank God you're not GM.
On top of that, force your recent talented 3rd rd pick to successfully change positions or relegate him to bench warmer.

All of that at the price of your best receiver.

Fortunately, our real GM has actual common sense so none of this is happening.

could solve my money issues.
Quote:Then why would the 49ers be so willing to let him go? If he was such an integral part of their team, I would think the 9ers would want to keep him unless something wasn't kosher.

Not being sarcastic... I really don't know much about Boone and what's going on in San Fran's camp.

Because TMD got it to work on madden.

You'll never get a straight answer. Also, "running a kitchen" at a bar where there are 3 employees and 12 items on the menu is a lot different than running the kitchen at a nice restaurant.

That would explain all the bar talk.

Regardless his opinions are about as valuable as garbage can hot dog. I can't imagine he would even be given that much responsibility.

A little integrity and a more down to earth demeanor would probably really lesson the crap he gets. It'll never happen though.

It's all an act. It's a character he has chosen to play on this message board.
Quote:Just a random idea/ trade thought... But since we need interior O-line help BAD and the 49ers look like they could use some receiver help, what if we traded Shorts for RG Boone from the 49ers?

Ideas...thoughts...???

Both are in contract years and would help each team
First off doesnt matter, because 49ers arent interested in trading him.  The 49ers will probably give in and give him the salary he deserves.

aw man.....theres a great comeback there, but I ain't chancing it with the way I get warnings.
The 49ers offense has been struggling and their protection has been the main problem. Michael Crabtree, AnQuan Boldin, Stevie Johnson (who they already traded for), Quinton Patton, Brandon Lloyd, and of course one of my personal favorites, Bruce Ellington form a pretty strong receiving group. It's not elite, but injury prone Shorts isn't going to add anything to that receiving core that they don't already have. They aren't trading for Cecil. Their protection is the main problem.. even their elite guys are struggling to protect. Last thing they are going to do is trade away Boone unless the absolutely have to and they will command a much better deal than a guy who won't really "upgrade" their receiving core. They already acquired a guy to do that in Stevie Johnson. Why trade an elite guard for another one?

The idea in theory was good, I don't think Cecil will stay healthy this year (could be wrong, just a hunch) and I think we have found a gem in Hurns to match with Lee, Robinson, and some day Blackmon to form a great receiving group. Cecil is the seasoned vet, but I would do the trade if the 49ers would do it. There in lies the problem. They would simply laugh at the thought.

Good info, but we established all this on like page 3 - someone has blinders on though.

Agreed.  Someone is ignoring everything bad about this because of who is involved.
