Why do people even respond to TMD anymore. He is claiming rookies will never improve. Like, whats the point of trying to use reason with someone who thinks like that?

I only see his posts because people are quoting him so please stop

sometimes poking the bear is fun.
Gratz' interception was the play of the day in practice today.

The obvious follow up?

Why is Blake Bortles so bad that he's being intercepted by Gratz?

Why did Sean Richardson intercept Aaron Rodgers in training camp?

people knee jerk react to everything and that's almost never a good thing. I was excited to see that Bortles responded well after the Int. I really think this kid is gonna be good.

I'd buy it.
Quote:Lets all rush to judgement on a rookie who only played half a season. makes sense.

And once Colvin actually plays in games and inevitably gives up receptions, people will jump off his bandwagon too.   That's the thing with CBs .... everyone loves them when they're new and untarnished.     When reality inevitably doesn't meet the fantasy, they get thrown in the "bum" pile pretty quick.

I agree with this.  I don't think Gratz will ever be mistaken for Deion Sanders or Mike Haynes, but not for Charles Dimry or DeRon Jenkins, wither.

I think Gratz was decent last year, with the ability to get better with experience and better pass rush in front of him.
I thought he played pretty well against Chicago. Ninja

Also - I'm bored and wanted to bring this to the first page.

Quote:Matt Barkley I wanted in the 4th round, yes. Barkley has as much chance of being relevant in this league as Gratz does, so if you're "lol" 'ing at him, you're also lol'ing at your own guy.

I'll be sure to keep an eye on those two players career paths.   Something tells me Gratz has a pretty good leg up on Barkley when it comes to sustaining a starting role in the NFL.
