If the above is true, at least until preseason it would seem the players most likely on the chopping block at WR is Mike Brown, Kerry Taylor, Tandon Doss and not Ace Sanders...
Why is DRob listed as a WR?

Because depth charts on the site in June are 100% accurate?
Quote:You're assuming that he'll flop, and IMO, it seems like you want him to flop, as well.
Like what you did with CS3, Cyprien, Ace, etc?

If you have to ask... you'll never know...
On it's face, it's a complete joke. Anything beyond than that is a complete waste of time and an insult to intelligent posters across the fruited plain.

I've said nothing in this thread derogatory about any of those players.
I've even stuck up for Sanders a few times, such as in the first response in the thread.
I guess when people want a reason to hate you, they will find it.
Thomas was a Gene Smith pick not a Shack Harris pick. For what it's worth.

That doesn't trump the relationship between Smith and Harris from being a factor in the trade.
Exactly like he did with those players FBT, except those are all rookiea written off before one down. Doss is a 3 year veteran. The idea I want him to fail is preposterous. I'd love him to succeed but I'm a realist and knowledgeable in the area of tandon doss' nfl ability. It's highly unlikely and I'd put my money on Ace before doss any day.
I think of what our offense looked like last season and I want to throw up. Every offense needs playmakers. Ace has shown the ability to "make plays." When few else have.
Quote:I do like how every new regurgitator (PFT, Rotoworld) has a "Ace Sanders on the bubble?" story.
Social media really lowered the bar on what journalism is expected to be.

Yes, thats true and I had forgotten Thomas was an 09, not an 08 pick, as did FBT....but to be honest it doesn't change that aspect of it. There was still familiarity there which likely helped secure a deal.
Quote:An anemic four broken tackles lol
Yikes..........Surely he will break more tackles this coming year.

Surely you can't be serious??
I am serious...and don't call me Shirley. B)

I just don't see the point in the thread. It's not intellectually stimulating and is pretty pointless. This exchange, or at least half of it, is one of the better moments.
What remains is... If you have to ask... you'll never know... and you've proven you still don't with your response. Which only further proves the pointlessness of it all.
Most dogs just go chase cars when they're bored.

The point of the thread was just relaying a piece of Jaguars news that was caught on the wire. Nothing more, nothing less. But you and the usual suspects just had to go reading too much into it as if it was me bagging on Sanders.....which if you actually read my contributions throughout the thread....was not the case at all.
Random thoughts by a beat writer is not news.

It just seems to me that you and a few others happened to not like what O Halloran said, so you choose to label it with the above tag.
I'll keep an open mind about it and see how it plays out. Maybe O Halloran knows something we don't.
The beat writer admitted he was just flinging poo at the wall on the radio today. Thread over as was noted in what the third reply or so. Stupid is as stupid does. Bottom line Ace is not going anywhere.

He doesn't. That's the point.
