FIRE Caldwell please! If it has come to this, he need a to go.

I may be mistaken, but I thought we used some similar type of firm/organization in our search that led us to Gus Bradley? The people saying Gus wasn't Caldwells guy can't have it both ways; Caldwell didn't hire the first guy he interviewed without it somewhat being "his guy."


I'm too lazy to use my Google abilities this morning (and I'm almost out the door for the game), so if anyone could affirm or deny that, that'd be awesome.

He needed to go regardless, and any positive contributions he makes to the roster in 2017 I view as a bonus, because I don't expect many of his former draft picks, free agents, or him for that matter, being around in 2018.

I've not gone to Google either, but from what I can recall from reading about the NFL lo these many years, using a search firm to obtain a list of potential interviews has become fairly standard practice.

 

This is regarding the hiring of the face of your franchise (that cost a billion dollars, more or less) after all.

A simple "you are right" will suffice, but we already know your "side" will go to the grave before admitting a mistake.

Apparently he also orchestrated the Schneuter and Carroll deals up in Seattle, as well as Quinn in Atlanta.

It says this guy will ASSIST in the hiring of a new HC not find one and hire him without Caldwell's approval...Big difference between the two...

To hire guys who were already hot candidates?

Draft misfires are going to happen way more often than not, and to most teams. The trick is to limit those misfires.


Any help Shad can bring in is appreciated

Great article and I love this extended effort made by our owner shad khan! I really hope it works. Maybe he can help us pick out a projected stud qb in the draft as well! Lol

I was thinking the same thing but from what I believe is, this dude is just going to make a recommendation and caldwell will have the final decision...

Oh no... I don't see why anyone here would want Coughlin to assist when it comes to drafting.
