With all the talk of Bridgewater slipping to late round 1 or 2nd round, I still think the Jaguars pick him with the 3rd pick.  Call me crazy but it's a gut feeling.  Your thoughts?

I hope so.
My gut feeling is Mack, Watkins or Manziel
I think there are some pieces of evidence that could suggest Teddy is the Jags top rated QB, but I don't think he will be the pick at 3 unfortunately.

Teddy is the only QB I'd take at #3 and I feel if we're going to take one that high, it will be Teddy.

I'd say there's a... 5% chance of it happening.  I think the team is more likely to trade down than select Bridgewater.  I kind of hope we do trade down in fact.

What evidence?

Please no tldr. Thx

The first being Dave saying the main 3 things he wants in a QB are anticipation, decision making, and accuracy...and then Teddy immediately being singled out as possessing all 3 right after he said those traits.

The second being Teddy as the only player period (not just QB) that the team has brought to Jax twice (thus far at least) for both a visit and a private workout.

Of course it's just anecdotal, but it's a stronger hint than the other QBs have.

I can buy the two time visit thing, but it could be smoke

Badger, the whole contingent of Jaguars representatives were in attendance for Bridgewater's pro day.  Also, the Jaguars had him come in for a second visit.  Too me, that is evidence that they are really interested in picking him with the 3rd pick.  Again, this is my opinion.
If the Jags can get Bridgewater later than 3, then I don't want him at 3. I want the Jags to get the player they want, at the best value possible.

This way you can complain no matter what we do

I'm not ready to say it means they like him at 3, but I think it is a fair hint that he is their top rated QB at least.

Sheesh, just shut it. Its not about me complaining - its about the team doing the best possible thing. You people hate perfection/ elite operations, don't you??

I don't want to complain about the Jags messing up. I just want them to be the model franchise for once.

Fair enough, I think it's fair to say we all want what's best for our team otherwise we would not be here posting about our favorite team.

It could be, but there was an article that Ben Allbright wrote or shared, I don't remember which sorry, that had some pretty solid stats showing that teams were more likely to draft players that they brought in earlier and especially more than once. Teddy was in the first big wave of prospects they brought in and he is the only one that's been brought in twice.

Not saying that means they are for sure taking him obviously, but I don't think it's smoke either. Conversely, I think the Texans bringing in Robinson and Matthews this late in the process is definitely just smoke to try to lasso a possible trade up partner.

Totally agree.
What would TB's draft status be if he had a brilliant Pro Day?

Would that have been enough to make him the undisputed  #1QB on the draft board??

Man that sub par Pro day has really made people question him and his NFL readiness.

Don't you realize nobody knows if you could get him later?

If the Jaguars organization deems him worthy of the #3 overall pick, do you think they will say "haha, but I don't think anyone else likes him, so lets trade down to the 2nd round and we'll get him there"...

If we deem him worthy that high, our FO will have good reason to believe other teams feel similarly.
