Because there were responses in this thread suggested MJD should just "be quiet" and "shut up". Why do you think I even mentioned the fact he has a right to voice his opinion in first place?

I think they are just saying it would suit him better to not say stupid things. He is looking like a jackball.


Its not that he doesnt have a right to complain, but the things he complains about are stupid and make no sense.

Specifically the talk about him getting done wrong by the Jags. He couldn't be more wrong, and that's based on facts about the contract he signed, played out, and the existing RB market right now.

He seems to be hanging his fat hat on that rushing title in 2011. Rushing titles are irrelevant these days because they seldom coincide with a teams actual win-loss record. If a QB has 30 passing TD's, you can bet the farm his team probably made the playoffs. If a guy rushes for 2100 yards, there is no guarantee that his team even won 7 games.

 

You weren't the only one, homeboy....I remember calling for them to trade Mojo around that point as well. It would have been the smart thing to do.

With that logic, all of the NFL did him wrong. He signed for peanuts (in NFL terms) at Oakland. I guess they did him wrong too. Don't they know what he is worth!!!

Yes, and it was many times, too. People bashed me for the idea. "trade the leagues best rusher and only good player, brilliant"....was some of the typical responses to my suggestion.

I agree witht hat as well. A player sore at his former team and what MJD said is expected by some. Brunell had a shot to clear things up and what he said made things worse. At best, he did nothing to erase a false stigma.

And that's the thing. The passionate fan would want someone like MJD to be quiet, but with his personality I think anytime someone sticks a camera or microphone in his face he will say something.

Not sure what one has to do with the other. Brunnell received a ton of crticism, so much so he issued an apology (pretty much).
