1) Teddy Bridgewater falls out of the first round.
<p class="bbc_indent" style="margin-left:40px;"><a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/teddy-bridgewater?id=2543465'>The Louisville product</a> has a problem, succinctly explained to me by an NFL general manager: "Bridgewater can't throw."
<p class="bbc_indent" style="margin-left:40px;">Yeah, I'd call that an issue.
<p class="bbc_indent" style="margin-left:40px;">Bridgewater <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000334589/article/mayock-teddy-bridgewaters-pro-day-workout-average-at-best'>bombed his pro day</a>, a scripted workout that is concocted to benefit the quarterback. No, you don't skip on a player for throwing inaccurate, wobbly passes in a March workout. But you do skip on him when it confirms what you saw in the fall.
<p class="bbc_indent" style="margin-left:40px;">I'll stay consistent with what I've been saying for quite some time now: <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000329103/article/jadeveon-clowney-sammy-watkins-dazzle-as-myths-truths-swirl'>I don't believe there's a franchise quarterback in this draft</a>. I think <a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/johnny-manziel?id=2543462'>Johnny Manziel</a> is the best of the bunch. And I'm not convinced, when you dive deep, that Bridgewater is a top-32 player in this class of prospects.
Ouch...
I do like his #8, though.
Que the Teddy Brigade and the ensuing excuses.

LOL. Apparently Adam Schein is now a draft guru. Interesting.
I also don't understand how what we saw in his pro-day confirms what he did on the field. He can make every single throw and more.

I'll be ecstatic if we make the playoffs or even manage to not be embarrassing. Don't get it twisted, I like Bridgewater because I think he can fix our QB problem. If Briidgewater is not the Jaguars QB I am no longer a Bridgewater fan. I was a big Earl Thomas fan as well but didn't defect when we passed on him. If we pass on him, I hope we're not one of the teams who regrets it.

All of you Bridge haters better own up to it after he has a successful first year.

Please. You rag on him every chance you get. Just own up to it at the end of the season.

Is it a person that doesn't want him at #3 and plugged in immediately, thinking that the Jag's fortunes will immediately change? If a person would like him a bit later in the draft, perhaps mid first round following a trade down, a Bridge hater? If they want him to sit and learn, and maybe bulk up a little bit for some time, would that automatically label such a person as a Bridge hater?
I am all of the above. I would take the guy in the late first, or second. I would sit him, and let him develop. I would be sure he is ready before I anointed him. Am I the Bridge hater you seek?
Just wondering....

One of the top QBs in the league? No I dont think he will. Do I think he will be the best QB in this class? No I dont want a game manager at 3 when you have elite talent at other positions. If we dont take a QB in the 1st and Murray is off the board I wouldnt mind him at all in the 2nd.

You know what I mean by hater. The OP, for example, is a hater. Someone who says he wont be successful is also a hater. Wanting to trade down and grab him is not. Its a simple concept dude.............

So much hyperbole recklessly thrown around.
"Best pro day I have ever seen"
"He has the arm of God"
"He had the best workout I've seen in 40 years of watching football"
"He can't throw"
"Worst workout in history of mankind"
"My cat has better pocket presence"

One NFL scout came out and said "he cant throw." And he wasnt talking about his pro day. Just read that article.
Bridgewater is on a major slide. Jimmy Clausen type slide.
